Legacy Bio:
Once a cub adopted by Rosette after Entreri's murder of her own young cub, Arcade recognized that his future was uncertain. Entreri was not his father and he and Rosette both feared that the ruthless king might have killed him for that reason alone. But he survived, and became the next heir to the pride after Cicero's less than stellar advancement. Even as a young lion, Arcade always was an idealist, he saw Entreri's cruelty and hoped that one day things would be better even if he had to change them himself. He remains friends with Dio and tries to help the pride as much as he can. Deep down, he suspects the existence of several actively evil lions working within the pride, but he doesn't want to believe that is true.
When he knew that his life was drawing to a close, Arcade sought an heir. He raised and trained a male named Quarinus, a confident and effective leader, if somewhat distant and harsh. Quarinus had everyone's best interests in mind, whatever his demeanor, but a new cub was taken in while both males aged. This young male grew quickly, much weaker than Arcade and Quarinus, but more cunning, willing to use any methods to accomplish his goals, just like his grandmother, Lucius, who convinced Arcade to shelter him. Tesla, the new male, sought power. As heartless as his mother, he slit the old king's throat while he slept. After running off Quarinus, Tesla took over, skinning the old king and going so far as to cannibalize the remains.
Tesla ruled for barely a month before his grandmother realized that his harsh and brutal methods would doom the pride. In the closest move she had ever come to an apology, she used her magic to preform a ritual resurrecting the spirit of the murdered Arcade in the body of her vicious grandson, Tesla. The ritual, however, did not work as well as intended. The brutal young lion's spirit still fights the new soul, resulting in occasions of violence, although these grow less and less frequent as Arcade accepts his new body and remembers his past. The presence of old friends also resurrected in the new hunting team helps this process along.
After many years, Tesla's strong body grew old and Arcade expected that his soul would finally be able to rest. As much as he still cared for his pride, he had lived too long. Unbeknownst to him, however, Missy had sought out a younger, strong male named Mercury and raised him from a cub, training him to become the strong king the pride needed. She would not, however, risk the reckless youth ruling as he was. She sought a demon whom she could control, intending to pass the old king's stunning looks to the youthful lion and let the demon possess the body so that Missy would be the real ruler of the pride. Her ritual did not go as planned, however. Although the old king's beauty did pass to the plain and shaggy Mercury, Missy was stopped before she could summon the demon. Sans, once dismissed as a simple prankster, had learned a great deal of magic and kept his power hidden from Missy. He is not the child he appears to be and Missy underestimated him. Sans learned of her plans and ambushed her, interrupting the ritual and using his telekinetic powers to fend off not only Missy but her most loyal servants, particularly Kimblee. Luckily, the deceptive lion recognized that Missy's powers were still useful to the pride and knew that he far outmatched not only her but her current supporters. He let them live and finished the ritual himself, returning Arcade's soul to the vacant young body so that the old, good king could protect the pride. By the time Arcade awakened after the ritual, all the other lions had gone. Arcade knows that he was brought back and remembers his past lives and crimes. He suspects Missy, although he does not recognize the true extent of her corruption and knows nothing of Sans' involvement.
With Missy long dead and Arcade's soul passed through three more bodies, his looks have changed and the pride with them. He remains to protect the pride, sacrificing his happiness and sanity for the greater good and choosing to remain, taking the bodies of the new kings as needed. His strength and intellect remain in each new body, though Missy has passed and many of the evil lions who once operated within his pride have gone. A new shaman has taken charge, working with Sans and without the king's knowledge to keep and empower Arcade's spirit. The pride remains peaceful now with a new body for the king and a new shaman growing stronger with each hunt.

You see 764 Gray 7m froze in place after they threw a rotten egg in the direction of another cub. It seems like they ended up hitting Grandpaw Arcade Gannon right on the head instead. He lets out an exaggeratedly-annoyed growl as the gross, smelly yolk drips down his mane and muzzle. 764 Gray 7m prepares to be smacked, but instead gets some of the yolk smudged all over their face! Grandpaw Arcade Gannon laughs at the cub's reaction and pats them gently on the back before ushering them to a nearby body of water to get cleaned off.
When one of the broodmothers told Grandpaw Arcade Gannon that ??? 696 3m has a penchant for bullying, Grandpaw Arcade Gannon took his grandcub aside. He made sure that they apologised to everyone they tormented, and told them to shape up - no grandcub of his would hurt others!
?? 686 7M ?? ran towards their Grandpaw Arcade Gannon with a lovely ostrich feather in their mouth, only to trip and completely wreck the feather in the process. ?? 686 7M ?? is on the verge of tears until Grandpaw Arcade Gannon picks them up and promises to find them all the ostrich feathers in the world.
