Of course, he is no larger than Akilah, the largest of his lionesses whose subspecies is naturally larger than the West African Lion. In general rather good-natured, he is nonetheless a stalwart defender of his pride. He has little tolerance or interest in outsiders, even females and is prone to chasing them away. While fair, he is firm and expects his females to be active hunters and help to keep their borders safe. He has no tolerance for weakness. He is ruthless when it comes to culling even his own cubs, knowing that only the strongest survive can survive in their territory. Still, he makes no rush to judge and the lionesses appreciate that he is willing to give their cubs time to mature before deciding if they must go.
