Old Sign-ups NEW Sign-Ups Thread Sunrise Pack Territory *pictures belong to their respective owners/photographers* The stream beside camp. It's shallow and easy to cross, perfect for drinking water and even pups are sometimes allowed to play in it-but be careful, it's slippery on the rocks depending on where you are, and freezes during winter and early spring. The easternmost part of the territory, on the other side of the mountain valleys connected to the Sunrise pack's territory. The pack lives in eye shot of the western side of the mountain. The westernmost point of the territory is dense forest and the easternmost point is reasonably flat plains against the last of the mountain valleys. Sunrise pack and its camp is separated from Duskfall's eastern territory by a valley of sloping mountains. In the middle of the territory is wooded shrubland. The camp is located in the westernmost area of the shrublands, the dens are made in the bushes and dug under the roots of large trees. Lucifer||Female||3.5||Beta White paws crunched against long since dead leaves, which had yet to disappear since last fall. Bright blue eyes contrasted against the black and white pelt of the beta female. She was moving in a circle about half a mile from camp, simply to pass the time and get away from the hustle of camp, sooner rather then later she'd be called back by someone needing help or the sort. Black rimmed ears swiveled as she trudged around, picking up on all the sounds of the forest, very alive at the end of spring. Eventually though, her pawsteps stopped making noise as she hit a area with little-to-no trees whatsoever and she smirked. The large female burst into a run suddenly, making laps around four trees which made a large oval-type shape. A rabbit burst from the undergrowth a little to late and she overpowered it, soon racing around with a rabbit hanging from her jaws before heading back to camp panting heavily. 0 players like this post! Kina||4.5||Healer Kina had gotten up a good time before any of the other wolves, an even the sun. She usually did, as odd as it was. She enjoyed the sunrise, and the quiet before day. And, it also happened to be when the plants she used were most likely to be undisturbed. So, the grey wolf had left camp, and now padded slowly back with a bundle of leaves in her jaws. Their scent overpowered her nose, so her ears were more alert than ever as she went. Nicya||3||Scout Nicya woke up, as usual, pretty cheerful. It was still a little chilled, but she looked forwards to the days which would be perfectly warm. The long-legged scout strode out of the den, her tail low behind her, but ears up as she surveyed the camp. It was her job to know things, well, find out important things. But she liked to make sure everything was all right, and it seemed to be all good. Laying her ears back slightly she padded into the open area of the densite, her stomach hoping that some hunters brought in food soon. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Lucifer||Female||3.5||Beta She was just about to make it to camp when three distinct smells hit her nose. A fox, Kina and.. Ice? Shaking her head slightly, they could handle themselves until she left the prey in camp. On her way she managed to snag another hare, the pair hanging limply from her jaws as she hit the camp entrance and left them in a spot at camp. Now dubbed the kill pile, she turned on her heel and briskily walked away from camp and back out towards the area where she originally smelt the trio. Deciding to head for Ice rather then the healer, her ears picked up sounds of running and her head tilted ever so slightly. She moved silently through undergrowth as opened up into plains and smirked at the sight. Ice and the fox were playing tag it seemed, so she watched for a few more moments with a shake of her head and headed back to find the healer. Maybe she needed help with the herbs, she could do that right? One wolf and not ten bombarding her at once. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nakoma~3 years~Zeta~ I watched Kina return with her herbs. I had awoke as she left, and usually did take that as my cue to get up, cause it means with in the hour the rest of the pack would start to stir. I sat on a hill away's off, and blended with the shadows. Soon after Kina returned, Lucifer came in with hares dangling from her mouth. I ignored the slight twinge of pain in my stomach as I watched her drop them, before heading to Kina's den. I swiveled my ears behind me as I heard a bird call in distress. I didn't hear it again, so it either was killed or decided there was no threat. I kept my ears swiveled that way, and heard no threats of danger. I turned from my spot, and headed into the forest. Someone has to check for trespassers. Maiara~9~Elder~ I stiffly got up from my bed. Hard ground was not good for my arthritis. I achingly walked out into the densite. I took a few moments to stretch my limbs, trying to relieve the pain. I sighed, as my stretching failed, and headed to my normal hill. It's right by the densite, it can even be seen from the densite, and I go there to lay in the sun to warm my joints and help the arthritis. I must remember to talk to Kina in private later. I slowly laid down, and the sun topped the trees as I settled down. I would only have about 10 minutes of sun, before not seeing it again tell sunhigh. I looked at the kill pile, before laying my head down. Nakoma would bring us something to eat, and we would talk as we ate. Our normal morning routine. 0 players like this post! Luna Ω She-wolf Ω 2 1/2 years old Ω Hunter Luna jerked up, banging her head to the cave's ceiling, making her yelp in pain. She growled some curses as she staggered to her feet and stumbling out of the den. She'd woken in the night and gone out for a walk, then become too tired to go back and fallen asleep in an old fox den. Luna blinked and squeezed her eyes shut against the sun that was just rising above the horizon. She gave a little skid of excitement. Warmer days were coming. She stood rigid as the sun set her brownish pelt ablaze, the light breeze ruffling her fur. She breathed in deeply. She shook her head. She had to get back to camp! She hurried down the steep slope, struggling not to fall. She concentrated on her paws and the surroundings, checking if there was something there to trip her as she practically ran down the slope. Suddenly a bird fluttered into the air with a loud alarm call. Luna leaped away, crashing into a bush and then rolling down the slope. She lay stunned for a moment when she stopped at the bottom, grumbling and muttering some curses and irritating herself as she asked herself why she was so unlucky. She scrambled back to her paws and shook dry mud out of her pelt. Luna flicked an ear as she turned around and raced to the direction to the camp. What seemed like seasons, she finally reached the stream beside the camp, panting and tired from the all the running. She crossed the stream in a leap, her paws landing on the other side with a thump. She nodded a greeting to Nicya as she passed her on a fast trot. "Alsida? Alsida!" She called to the Kappa. They'd have to go hunting before the pack would get hungry. "We need to go out and hunt!" She said, sniffing the air as she tried to locate the she-wolf. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Her bright blue eyes scanned the area for any dangers to either of them before walking from the undergrowth and up beside Kina. "Morning Kina, Do you need anything this morning?" Her voice was soft and smile tugged at the corner of her lips. Or well, as close to a smile as she could get. Anya || Female || 4 Years || Royal Guard Anya awoke to the horrible feeling of a spider crawling on her nose. She burst up, sprinting full speed out of the tree roots. On instinct, she headed towards the tenderfeet den. Since no pups, sigmas, or apprentices inhabited the pack, she took it upon herself to watch after the only tenderfoot, Murdoch. Nothing unusual was a foot with the tenderfoot, so she continued towards the stream. After gathering a quick drink, she bounded back into camp, full of energy, but spotted, Maiara. "Morning Maiara!" She quipped and paced over, sniffing the older wolf with a tentative nose. "Feeling okay?" Her ears perked up, but her eyes shot to the ground. (Teaminka, i didnt accept Maiara, I'm going to tell you now here as well - She cannot be a royal guard. She's too old and if you read the ranks you would see that she would've joined the elders den two years ago.) Pyre | Female | 4 | Noble Stretching in the low sunlight, the red hued she wolf rose from her nest and let her paws carry her over the crest that marked the edge of her den. Pyre nested in a warm, cozy densite that was located underneath a large tree's roots, a very sturdy and safe den to say the least. Sniffing out her sister and friend's scent, she padded toward where she knew at least one could be found, the kill pile. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nova ~ Male ~ 3 ~ Noble A large shadow was cast over the growing kill pile as Nova nosed through the still warm carcasses of fallen prey. After an early morning of patrolling the western border and a not-very-pleasant encounter with a porcupine, he was eager to settle down and fill his belly in peace. As he finally settled on a plump hare, a familiar scent reached his nostrils and he raised his dark head to see his good friend, Pyre, heading towards him. "So much for peace," he muttered under his breath, though his eyes brightened at the sight of her and his tail gave a jovial wag in greeting. Abstract patches of sunlight lay around her, shaped by the gaps in the bush den she lay under. She stood halfway, making her way out of the cozy den with a crouching walk. As she made her way out, she stood fully, straighening her posture. Her jaws opened wide in a yawn, showing off long, sharp teeth to the forest. As the morning stupor rose from her body, Arielle began to pad towards camp. Her pace quickened and she broke into a loping run, bounding along the river. She could hear the creek's babbling as she ran past it, catching glimmers for fish and familiar landmarks. She broke into the camp and stopped herself, careful not to collide with anyone. Nova Male 3 Nova pretended to stagger beneath the older she-wolf's weight and twisted around to nip playfully at her front paws, though he was careful not to be too rough. He was used to such antics. "Well right now I'm trying to get this oversized squirrel off my back," he joked. "Have you put on some weight lately, Pyre?". His eyes twinkled mischievously as he spoke. His paw bumped into the kill, knocking it over and scattering the numerous corpses. oops. He hoped that Nakoma hadn't noticed. He could always blame it on his fiery pelted friend currently clinging to his shoulders but he knew that vengeance would be certain if he did. Aela 4 Scout Aela bounded through the stream bordering the camp, splashing sparkling drops of water through the air and enjoying the icy pricks as they hit her sunny pelt. Her mouth was open, tongue out as she panted from the exertion of running all the way from the plains. She had been scouting for prey and spotted a large herd of plains deer grazing in the warm sunshine. Though the pack was well fed on the bounties of spring she knew that winter would not be so forgiving, and fattening up for the colder seasons was extremely important especially for the weaker wolves. Her sharp blue eyes scanned the camp for Adsila, their kappa, but instead came to rest Pyre and Nova. Warmth spread through her chest at the sight of them looking so happy. She brushed away memories of darker days that were rising in her mind, and padded over to them to tell them about the deer. 0 players like this post!
