SETTING

Yorkville, Massachusetts is a coastal town with a port out to sea. A hug wooden "ark" can be seen at dock all the time, though no one knows where it came from.

There is an apartment building in the Northern part of the town and houses off to the West. East heads off to sea while South has a heavily forested area. In town there are many attractions for the residents.

There is a local coffee shop, perfect for meeting up with friends. A movie rental place allows for some leisure when at home. A general store is in the center of town, not far off from the apartments. A comic book store often has teenagers outside, buying comic books and partaking in tournaments in various card games and video games. A pawn shop is right next to the ocean. There are benches near the dock, which gives an amazing view of the ocean.

Name: Stanford Pines

Age: Around 60

Species: Human

Universe: Gravity Falls

Appearance: Ford
A six-fingered man who wears a red turtleneck under a trenchcoat. He gives a six-fingered handshake which is one finger friendlier than normal.

Personality: Very intellectual, and is easily considered nerdy. He is very paranoid and cautious thanks to past experiences which he doesn't speak about. Nothing seems to stun him, as he's seen stranger things than most people can imagine. His passion for his research has hardly wavered, even if the thrill has died down. Even though he generally enjoys his research, he is quite serious about it.

History in Yorkville: Ford decided to go to this "New World" about a decade ago, and he has hardly regretted it. Normal human age around them, but most of everyone coming from the pocket dimension doesn't age much at all. Having taken up residence in an apartment in the building, Ford continues his research there, trying to figure out the effects on the explosion so many years ago that created everything. He doesn't let many people into his apartment, as it is also against The Council's laws to tell people who you are, unless you are 100% certain they are also from the realm you came from. It is said that he has a connection with The Council, though no one has asked him if it is true.

Place of Dwelling: Apartment 116 1F

Work, Ford had to admit, was tiring.

All day and all night, he stayed up in his small apartment, working on experiments with caged creatures in the room. Luckily, the person owning the place was aware of the characters' existence, and he hardly batted an eyelash at Ford's experiments, even when it caused some disruptions in other rooms. It was always just another excuse, and Ford was thankful.

Today, things were going to be a little different. Ford grabbed his bag, opening the door to Apartment 116 and locking the door behind him quickly. He didn't want anyone looking inside, even for a moment. After that was out of the way, he went to an elevator, hit GF, and went down to the ground floor. Today, he was going to go out into town. Today, he was going to actually sit down and drink something other than random tap water from his sink, which he had grown attached to.

Today, he was going to go to the coffee shop. Maybe the general store to pick up some groceries.

Hi, are characters from Five Nights At Freddy's an option? I know that they have to hide their non-human appearance, but then could they perhaps be like werecreatures? Perhaps like during the day are human but in the night become the animatronics they are?

@Simba First time I've heard that one in the places this RP has moved. I'm sure that'll be okay, but please use human reference pictures. The Council will provide items to hide the animatronic appearance, and they will remain that way until the item(s) are removed. They might have a strange love for pizza, however, aha.

Btw, noticed your profile pic is Heep from Wolves of the Beyond. Shadow Wolf, the second book, right?

Okay, he'll wear a topaz necklace on his neck as a human, and when he removes them (he prefers to not have them on) then he'll be a wolf. Same with the animatronics.

What would happen if someone were to catch either or both in the non-human form?

Ooh, and what about those who are always human but still have animal forms? Can the characters be canon if not from the Council?

Personality: Mangle is very sweet and kind, actually. She is kind to almost everyone, except those she doesn't like, of course If you're on her bad side, she is very rude and arrogant, and sometimes even violent if angry enough. if she is violent, it is only in animatronic form though,

History in Yorkville: Mangle has always lived in this world.

RP Sample: Tide tapped Angel to get her attention. "I have a plan to escape. I'll ask of Madjaster, or some other crystal dragon, to take me to a bathroom, if there is one. Then, I'll try to find a way to either find a key, make a key, or find something that can break these crystal bars. While I'm doing this, you can pretend to be asleep, or act as if there's nothing to be suspisious enough. We need to be quiet and careful." she told Angel. She wanted Angel's approval before starting, in case there were other things to be considered. That thought went away quickly though, so Tide went up to the bars. "Syzygy? Madjaster? Varati? may you please take me to a bathroom?" she asked, wondering if they would fall for her trick. She made fidgety movements to make it seem even more real.

No matter what form he is in, he wears a watch with the eyes as buttons. (The watch is the shape of the cat head symbol on the costume and animal forms' chests.) The left eye button is used to switch into either day form (non-costume) or night form (costume form) depending on what time of day it is. The right eye button is used to switch into animal form, which can be done during either the day or night (generally used during the night) pressing this button while in animal form does nothing. To switch out of animal form, he must press the left eye button to become either the day or night form, depending what time of day it currently is. Only his friends and parents know about the animal form, and they vow to keep it a secret.

Personality: Usually confident, sometimes overly confident. he has a very short temper and can explode easily, especially over little things. he can also be very stubborn about things.

History in Yorkville: Again, he, along with his friends, had always been living in this world.

Place of Dwelling: In a blue-painted house near the coffee shop.

RP Sample: Jinx nodded, and moved towards the antelope slowly. "Now." she whispered to Amira, and sprang out from the hiding spot. The herd exploded into different directions, but Jinx caught on hold of the antelope they planned to kill. It tried to buck her off, but she only loosened her grip a little bit. She managed to bite its neck, an it dropped. Finishing it off with another bite to the neck, she looked up with satisfaction. "Two cheetahs are greater than one after all." she said, grinning. Serkahri woke up in the daylight, and yawned. His stomach growled, and his mother, as he knew, was short on milk. "It's because we haven't been eating recently..." he solemnly thought. Sighing, he blinked the sleepy feeling away, and slinked away from his mother's side. Something felt wrong though; he knew how often his mother warned him about lions and hyenas. And the scent hit his nose with a slap. His mind scrambled and came to one conclusion. Hyenas were coming. "Hey, is it just me, or are hyenas nearby? I smell them..." Jinx asked Amira.

So I finally finished my forms. Am i allowed to make characters from TV shows too? Including shows like Regular Show, The Lion Guard, ect.? Because I kind of want to, but am not sure if i am allowed to do so. (The one I have in mind, I am well aware it's a kid's show but I still like it.) And by doubles, do you mean double posts or double forms?

@Simba Double posts and doubles of characters (Double posts are simply fixed with editing the post to make it shorter/let us know it was a mistake). You're only allowed to have 2 characters as of now, but the characters from TV shows are fine. My character, Ford, is from Gravity Falls, a show. And both are accepted, I'm going to update everything now!

It's chill, and the limit will increase over time as the RP gets rolling. I don't want someone with tons of characters jumping in before they know what they're doing, so I'm being cautious.

Ah, okay, yeah I used to do that. I'm quite capable of controlling many characters at once, probably up to a whopping 25. I know others probably can't though, and I doubt I'll be even making 25 characters. I updated my form post.
