I kinda really like the proposed idea of combining the two choices, if that option is still on the table. A grand journey to find out what happened to the two-leggers (and maybe a pretty good chunk of the rest of the world, realistically) anything that would make the two-leggers vanish would have a huge effect on the clans as well, perhaps they are being doomed by what destroyed the two-leggers. It would be a daring quest to say the least. If the clans are mostly in danger anyway, it would add a great bit of variation to our characters...say what if there weren't just warriors and apprentices that left...what if those on the journey were whoever was well enough to try and help? I know that everyone loves to play the young daring warrior or the medicine cat, but if the world is doomed, they may be forced to use who they have and send out a few more spry elders and queens that aren't currently pregnant/nursing.

And honestly, I'm bad with the entire naming of things...sorry? Here's a short list of very sketchy ideas...
Dark days (either)
Moons of fire (apocalyptic)
New Leaf, New Prophecy
The Quiet Thunderpath (if we combined them?)

Awhile back, on another site, we did a post-apocalyptic Warrior RP. It was a ton of fun and super original. Perhaps we could do something before or during the fall of the human world? I'm kind of tired tonight BUT let's give it a shot;

It started slowly, really. Two legs used to come to the forest whenever the weather was warm - their young ones tromping and splashing across clan territory. But their appearances started to dwindle & the ones that did come looked ill, skinny and coughing to the point that crimson stained the ground wherever they would stop. Then they stopped coming altogether. For awhile, anyway.

Illness hit the clans next. It seemed to come in a wave, crashing over each of the clans suddenly and instantly. Leaders, deputies, Medicine Cats, kits... No one was safe from the illness. The cats would lose their fur first. Next came the coughing and weight loss, reducing once-strong Warriors to nothing but skin and bone. Those who did not fall ill were immediately evacuated to a safe location far from the clans. They bathed constantly, ate only prey that was not missing a single patch of fur.

So came the choice to send two cats from each Clan on a journey. StarClan themselves ordered it - there was a darkness on the horizon that even they could not stop. Where will their pawsteps lead them? What has become of the two legs, what will become of the mighty Clans?

When it became clear that something was not right beyond their borders, StarClan themselves appeared with a message. Find sanctuary, for a darkness was rolling in they did not have the power to stop. It was after a short Gathering that the Clans decided to pick two cats from each Clan to journey and find them a new home. It's hard to run from an enemy you cannot see.

Fear and paranoia has quickly settled over the Clans, even the cats who have been chosen to journey and find a sanctuary. What has become of the two legs? What will become of the mighty Clans?

I edited it with a second option! I think it works better, since having most of the clans sick & the cats able to get sick might make it too... idk, boring? Bc then pretty much everyone will die at some point, and it's not like the cats can find a cure for it.
