Spirit » Filly » Foal » Open to Interaction

With a huff, the small filly wobbled over to the river curiously; she had never really been near it before, well by herself anyway. She peered down into the slightly murky water, awing at how beautiful it was. "I never expected water to be this cool!" She whispered to herself, just loud enough for her mother Nutella to hear. With a shocked snort, Spirit felt her body being pulled away from the river, as her mother pushed her away; "Don't get to close to it!" She scolded, as Spirit continued to stare intently at the water. Knowing Spirit, Nutella knew she would never be able to get Spirit away from the river, unless she scared the sense into her daughter. "But the river hypnotizes you if you stare too long! And then it makes you trot into the water, and....." The Nurser paused, making sure she got every dramatic effect, "And then they pull you under! Drowning you!" She exclaimed, leaping forward to her daughter. Spirit screamed slightly, and ran her heart out, to the grazing ground were most of the herd was. Still terrified, she ran headlong into Thor, crying slightly. Before he could question why she was crying, she sobbed; "It's gonna` get me, and drown me!" Nutella trotted after Spirit slowly, she was being cautious and decided it was the best thing for Spirit, to learn to be careful near the river.

Joycelyn | Mare | Location: Near the river | Mentions: Nutella, Spirit |

The mare pranced around a meadow near the river carelessly. She had nothing to do and it was a typical day where nothing really interesting was happening. Unless you aasked Conner. He always had some sort of gossip going. But Joycelyn was never one for gossip. Instead she looked around the meadow, changing into the textier and looks of a birch tree's bark for fun. Joy looked around and trotted up to where Nutella and her foal Spirit were in, and started to change to look more like grass. She held completely still and from a distance would blend into the rolling hillside, but up as close as the two other females, they would surely spot her.

After Spirit had finished crying, she sobbed a small apology; "I-I'm sorry Thor, I was..... Scared of something..." She blinked, and trotted back to the river, looking petrified at it. 'It can't hurt me.... It can't hurt me..... It can't hurt me.' She thought to herself, cautiously. Spirit trotted closer, and went near the hillsides, before she saw a strange form on the hills. "Don't eat me please!" She shrieked, thinking the form was going to drown and eat her. She galloped away, her heart beating quickly, this time she ran into a huge, scary horse. Thunder! Screaming again, Spirit ran further away from the two, and ran into Conner. "I-I'm sorry! But please hide me!" She whispered, wiggling her body behind the stallions.

Rosain sighed softly at the poor fear filled filly, the splotchy leader trotted over to Nutella "you're filly is quite adorable" the mare smiled. Rosain padded over to the little filly, who was hiding behind Conner "hello little one" cooed the leader "why are you afraid?"

Still shivering, Spirit peeked her head to the side to see the herds leader; "The river monster, it was gonna eat me!" She stuttered, acting very dramatic. Her mother gave her a regretful look, and pressed her nuzzle against Spirits side, urging her to come away from Conner. "It's not real, Spirit, I just told you it so you would stay away from the river." Nutella stated guiltily, looking down at her hooves."

After Nutella urged Spirit to come out, and had calmed her down, she informed Rosain what had been happening; "I just didn't want her to drown, so I scared the sense into her. I didn't know it would turn out like this."

Nutella smiled; "Thank you for your understanding Rosain." She thanked the kind mare, especially for the complements Rosain was giving to her mothering. The Nurser glanced over to her foal, and asked an important question; "What do you think the job for her to train as when she becomes a yearling, would be? She hasn't told me anything at all about what she want's to be." Nutella let out a shallow sigh, and watched the filly prance around Conner, playing with the moss around him.

Nutella thoghtfully looked at her foal, and finally answered; "I think she would be a good healer...." She paused, and nodded her head, as a 'perfect'.

Rosain nodded in agreement "then a healers apprentice she shall be" the mare said as she glanced around "I was thinking of adding a few new positions like Gatherers, Seekers" the leader stated thoughtfully "I'll have to..." She trailed off in thought

(Like Gathers went out to get supplies for the healer, or something

The mare watched as Spirit saw her and ran, shaking her head in amusement. She followed Spirit from a distance and her ears perked up when she caught Nutella mentioning that Spirit might have the makings of a Healer. Joy returned to her normal state, and made her way over to where Nutella and Rosian were conversing. She didn't perform any sign of respect to Rosian like others did to aknowledge her leadership, and began to speak. "Truthfully, there is an amount of discipline needed to become a healer. An amount that Spirit does not have. But she is young and still has much more to discover about herself. I know she has what it takes, if she wants to." Joy said honestly.


Conner | Stallion | Location: Near the river | Mentions: Nutella, Spirit, Rosian, Joycelyn

The stallion chuckled when a foal came running up to him and cowered behind him. He had been conversing with the trees for a while and knew that Joy was in the meadows, looking like a giant grass monster. He found it quite funny and nudged the filly away from him. "That /monster/ was Joycelyn, by the way. And yes, I think she would make a good healer." Conner said without even needing to look up from Spirit. He knew everything that was going on in the conversation easily.

(( here are some mythological horse creatures-

Sleipnir- Eight legged horse, its described as the best of all horses, and is sometimes ridden to the location of Hel, (Not the devils place xD)

Pegasus- He is a winged divine stallion also known as a horse usually depicted as pure white in color. ( Greek Myth )

Unicorn- It's described as a beast with a large, pointed, spiraling horn projecting from its forehead. In European folklore, the unicorn is often depicted as a white horse-like or goat-like animal with a long horn and cloven hooves (sometimes a goat's beard).

Hippocampus- It has typically been depicted as having the upper body of a horse with the lower body of a fish.
