Beacon Hills has gone through many hardships and mysteries, but that has long been forgotten. The McCall pack has moved on, deciding to erase the presence of whatever Supernatural forces resided there. Families have passed on stories, and that's all they are now. Beacon Hills has moved on from its darker days, hoping to provide new generations with opportunities to grow and expand. The Nemeton resides in the forest, and it always will. After decades of sleeping, however, it has awoken to a dark presence that has decided to claim its land. The Chimeras that died on it provided it just enough power to continue to grow, leeching life from the darkest corners of Beacon. Just when it was supposed to die, it gave itself one last fighting chance. It found itself a host. It walks among the young adults of Beacon as one of their own, lying dormant as it searches to find the force that threatens the land it has claimed. As the teen grows, so does the power of the Nemeton. While cut in half, it has attracted another force, a kinder one that sensed its will to live and the pain of splitting itself. She has come to rebuild the Pack of Beacon Hill, and find what creatures have become drawn to it. Where do they hide, and where do their loyalties fall? To the Nemeton, or to the Shadows? ____________________________________________ General Rules: - Do no create your own prophecies, omens, warnings, or launch attacks for the characters or the Rp! The setting is the middle of the school day about halfway through the year (( about at lunch; it's early spring )). Everyone has settled into packs and cliques, and a few sparks have been flying between the two packs with nothing big happening. A new school counselor is being hired due to the last one having maternity leave. ___________________________________________________________ Erne Irene Muirin | Selkie - School Counselor | 26 | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: General School Body (( Anyone jump in!) Erne had been given the position of school counselor, not that she minded. It was a job her sister insisted she was good at, once she liked keeping kids in line and helping them. Not that she was very nice since she took things rather seriously. The selkie knew for sure that she needed to find the supernatural beings in this town and ask which side they were going to end up on if this threat came to town. This is the reason she was sitting at the teacher's table and observing students. She'd gone through a few files and started off with those who excelled in sports, since that was usually where werewolves resided. A few jumped out at her, but upon investigating they were just a couple of talented teens. She was looking harder for them now, and what better place to find a pack than the school lunch room? ______________________________________________ Miyu "Itty" Itri Watanabe | Kitsune - "Beta" | 18 / Senior | Location: School --> Lunch Room | Mentioned: Brant + Toby Itty smiled to herself, her eyes glancing around the lunch room. Brant was behind her and she chuckled about how he babbled on and on about the genetic disorders and facts he'd learned about in AP Biology. It wasn't annoying, but she was only half paying attention. Lately she could feel a shift in the earth, her mother said that was her link form her Wild Kitsune speaking. It made Itty nervous, and she was on the look out for constant threats from opposing Supernatural creatures. Brant was a human, she always looked out for him even when he didn't want her to. Speaking of creatures, Itty glanced in front of her and spotted Toby. He was engrossed in the decisions he could make with different foods. _____________________________________________ (( Posting Brant soon )) ![]() |

Toby North | Werewolf / Beta | 18 / Senior | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: Brant & Itty Lunch was Toby North's favourite part of the school day, there were absolutely no exceptions or arguments to be made about it. As a fast growing Beta wolf it was hard to ensure he consumed enough to keep him less favourable instincts at bay, especially since the school faculty took such offence to him attempting to chow down during class for whatever reason. Therefore, lunch always came as something of a relief to the 18 year old. Plus, it was better than triple calculus, right? Due to this, it was with great concentration that Toby selected the various elements which would make up his (admittedly huge) lunch. Fibre? Protein? Had to make sure he had it all. Although, it was pretty hard to concentrate when all he could hear was Brant's excited babbling next to him in the line. "Brant." Toby sighed in irritation as he turned towards his peer. Although he had something of a temper, Toby was usually pretty laid back. Unless he was hungry. "Could you tone it down a notch man? I'm trying to decide between chicken and beef over here, but hearing you talk is making me consider human meat instead." He aimed a pointed glare towards the human, although it was mostly just as a joke. Mostly. Noticing that Itty was also in the line, Toby nodded in greeting towards her, before adding. "Fancy splitting a human with me? Lots of protein, I'd recommend it." His tone was much lighter as he address the female, despite his hunger. After all, a girl was a girl, right? Well, a kitsune, but whatever. Kade Lesnar | Werewolf / Alpha | 18 / Senior | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: Ernie Having skipped straight to the font of the cafeteria line minutes earlier, Kade was already sat at his regular table by the time most of the other 'supernatural' students entered the ear-numbingly noisy room. Although he had not been a werewolf for as long as most of the others, Kade had quickly found his new-found skills to be quite useful when dealing with his peers. It was amazing how fast a little human retreated when faced with a flash of blood red eyes or felt the cold scrape of claws against their fragile skin. Hilarious, actually. Not that Kade needed to abuse his canid traits in order to get things to go his way, oh no, his reputation usually handled that for him. As one of the school's more notorious bullies, there was barely a soul within the school who dared to tell him 'no' and that was exactly how the young Alpha liked it. In fact, it was partly how he became an Alpha in the first place. Allowing his mossy green eyes to roam slowly around the bustling student, an unfamiliar face caught Kade's attention. But, it wasn't a student, no, for the strange female was sat at the dedicated 'faculty' table. Raising one pierced eyebrow with mild interest, Kade focused on the muddy blonde woman a little more intently. Definitely not a teacher, or he would have likely been given a 'pep talk' from the guidance counsellor about 'being friendly' and not scaring them off. Wait... guidance counsellor? A few seconds ticked by as Kade tried to remember the last time he'd been called into the heavily pregnant guidance counsellor's office, which was when it occurred to him that she had likely left on maternity leave a week or so before. Oh. Hmm. The woman at the table appeared a little young to be qualified for anything above...well, anything, but time would soon tell. Sooner than later, actually, as Kade had been scheduled an appointment in the guidance office straight after lunch. ![]() |

|Ajei ‘Jei’ Nabahe|Female|Skinwalker - Loner| 17 / Junior | Location: School > Lunch Room | Mentions: Erne and Kade| God how she hated the insistent chatter that came with the Beacon Hills High School cafeteria, all of these people crammed into one room made her uneasy. But being a skinwalker had its perks with both the human populace and the supernatural one. Jei knew for a fact humans grew uneasy around her, feeling sick or extremely worried if she got too close. It was much more fun to see the reaction from the others that were supernatural. Banshees didn’t react too much other than the need to move away because of the death that followed her kind, but kanimas, kitsunes, and werewolves were fun to see. Their instincts telling them something wasn’t quite right, that she was something bad and not natural. It made securing her solitary habits easy when you could get others to leave you be like that. It also made getting to the front of the line rather simple too, no need to cut or shove when they let you up there right? Tapping her foot lightly on the ground as the line moved up more, sighing in relief when she was able to quickly pick out her nearly completely meat based lunch. The thought of vegetables made her feel sick, her skinwalker side revolted at the thought of fruit so there wasn’t much options besides meat and bread. Jei hummed as she took her tray carefully and picked up a water bottle as well, turning and heading towards the table she had isolated solely for herself. Being around so many others made her a little edgy and agitated, the need to rub at the rune on her shoulder acting up but instead she simply played with her earrings. They were a new set sent to her from her mother; the clasp was made of bone and the feathers were long and solid black, soft in texture and took her mind off the mass amounts of people currently around her for a few moments. It wasn’t until she sat down to survey the room that her eyes locked onto an entirely new face. It was a woman, Irish descent without a doubt, and one of the teachers. She could care less what position she held, certain that it wouldn’t be of any consequence to her as she most likely wouldn’t see this woman again anyways. Her dark eyes flickered around to see if she could shift out any of the other supernaturals, wondering if they had noticed this new face analyzing the room yet before her eyes landed on Kade, one of the local werewolves, who seemed to have noticed as well. Ajei thought about moving over there to find out about this new person, but socializing was not her strong suit so she simply went back to eating her lunch in silence, trying to puzzle out who she was. |Rayven ‘Ray’ Denmir Kingston| Banshee - Loner| 16 / Junior | Location: School > Lunch Room | Mentions: No one [OPEN]| Ray had been one of the first people in here, his class releasing them early after everyone had finished testing and turned the paper in. He sat in his seat calmly, ignoring quickly filling room in favor of his Rubik cube which he moved with quick succession. His green eyes moving over the spinning sides as he focused on matching up colors and glaring savagely at anyone who tried to sit at his table, normally a few kids could get away with it. But not today, not when the whisperings were this bad and the talking around him seemed to only make it worse. When the need to scream felt like it was building in his chest and in the back of his throat. Shaking his head, Ray pushed it too the back of his mind as he adjusted his beanie and set the puzzle cube down too sit up more in his chair and take a bite of the dragonfruit he had brought with him from home. A content hum echoed in his throat as he picked the cube back up and went back to solving the mostly finished object with ease, ignoring the pressure in his throat and chest in favor of this task. Tonight he would head out into the preserve and hopefully get rid of the ache far enough away from the town, and finally figure out what the whispering was saying. ![]() |

Erne Irene Muirin | Selkie - School Counselor | 26 | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: Kade + Jei Students weren't the easiest people to get along with. Erne has visited her sister many times, and she's somehow charmed them all into adoring her like she was their aunt or the mother they always wanted. It annoyed her. These students seemed to be going all at their own pace and with their own opinions, not knowing they were probably being hypocritical. Especially when they judged others for doing something they too would do it given the chance. Erne had decided long ago that codding was only given to those who needed it; when life had beat them so far down or had hit them hard enough they woke up. She wasn't a nanny, she had enough of being one at home. Baby selkies were as annoying as a wolf learning to howl. It was a downright miracle she didn't shove one of the fat pups into the ocean to fend for themselves. Just as it was a miracle she didn't beat this school's Swim Coach and take over his position as well. Technically she had, snapping at him for getting all sorts of basics wrong and fixing whatever problems arose during practice early that morning. It was mostly Erne, she snapped at him like a leopard seal after a penguin. Grumbling as she shoved the morning's hectic events to the back of her mind, Erne felt gazes on her. She noticed two students in particular seemed to lock in on her, and staring was about as close as they got to her. Of course the students knew about her already, the ones that cared to listen. The ones who would be worried about what threat she posed would be a wolf, and those curious about her might be a kitsune. She'd learned the basics of others at least, and the personality traits they might share or reveal to her. Erne glanced in Jei's direction, assessing her with her eyes. An athlete. Erne liked her already! Although she had an odd feeling around it, she just couldn't put her finger on it. Bree, her sister, would be able to instantly tell what creature she was by assessing her clothing, her heritage, and her "aura". Some gut feeling you were supposedly able to develop over time. Yeah right. Turning her focus to Kade, Erne scrunched her nose up as she got an odd look form him. What the hell was that for? She'd already heard plenty about that awkward little pup, and she'd already pegged him for a wolf. He held himself like an alpha, he walked around like he owned the place, and he located a new face instantaneously. Not to mention how territorial and violent the teachers said he was. Her schedule marked him down for after lunch, and she couldn't be happier. It was like the Nemeton had found a way to drop the creatures in her lap, not that she really could tell. Well... A test maybe? "So. Miss Marian is it?" The counselor snapped her head around to look at the male speaking to her. He was a teacher, probably one of the science ones by how smug he looked. Bree always got this look on her face when she had more knowledge than a particular person, and it looked like this guy had it slapped onto his face permanently. "No. It's Miss Muirin. Mure-IN. It's Irish, emphasis on the last syllable, bud." The man appeared shocked at her lack of formality, especially since she was new and the lowest on the food chain. Not that she really cared, the school was stuck with her for the rest of the year. His conversation stopped right there as he walked back to his seat, much to Erne's joy. _________________________________________________ Miyu "Itty" Itri Watanabe | Kitsune - "Beta" | 18 / Senior | Location: School --> Lunch Room | Mentioned: Brant & Toby + Kade & Ava Itty narrowed her eyes at Toby, pulling her lip back to form an annoyed smile at him. Brant had quieted a bit too fast for her liking, and stepped closer to her so he could hide behind her. Reaching out, she flicked Toby's ear and put a hand on her hip before grabbing one of the lunch trays. "Leave Brant alone, or we'll be having wolf-ka-bobs for lunch. I heard there's also a new faculty member, although it's just a counselor so it seems fine. That aside, what are we doing after school? I feel like swinging by and grabbing a milkshake, the going to do something . It's spring. It's warm, it's sunny, it's time to grab life by the balls if I'm going to survive until the end of my senior year." While most would choke on their food or a spit take at her crudeness and inappropriate metaphors, Brant didn't exactly mind after the years he spent with it; the kitsune only hoped Toby was catching on. Itty was just straightforward and overly cheerful. It might be crude humor to most, but it's how Itty got through the day. "Oh, lookey." While straightforward, the kitsune's mind jumped around like no one would believe. It was something she developed from hanging out with Brant; she had to kep up with his babbling and topic changes so she developed her own way of bouncing around. "Kade's got a puppy." Itty spoke softly, enough that Toby would hear her and not the other two wolves she'd spotted. Brant was included in the hearing range simply because he was close enough to hear her this time. _________________________________________________ Bartholomew "Brant" Maddox Taylor | Human - Pack Friend | 18 - Senior | Location: School --> Lunchroom | Mentioned: Itty & Toby + Kade The human grumbled and stepped closer to Itty, narrowing the eyes he hid behind his thick glasses. Toby hadn't become any nicer to him over the school year, even when Itty swore he was just trying to be friends. It wasn't that he was scared of the werewolf, he just didn't like interacting with rude or threatening individuals. He got enough of that from Kade. Every. Single. Day. "Get the chicken then, I hope you choke on the bones." Brant snapped softly, turning to grab a tray and use Itty as a divider. He felt bad doing it, but sometimes werewolf tempers and emotions were unpredictable. She was the only stable point in the pack right now. After hearing Itty mention Kade, Brant's eyes chased after the imposing figure he'd been keeping an eye on. Thankfully he had cut in line far ahead of them and left Brant without so much as an insult or lingering pain. For now, that was enough to get through lunch. He wasn't going to get any attention for the period, or so he hoped. Brant hummed softly to himself, and Itty leaned her to butt foreheads with him. It was their single they were there for each other, and he simply bumped hers in return before returning to their lunch options. Of course the kitsune would got straight after the chicken and salads, but Brant usually went for the plain turkey subs they served. It seemed today was when they switched out the foods, so he was forced to get chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes. Not that he minded, it came with a roll and he enjoyed bread. Following the familiar back of Itty, she lead him around the long way to their table to avoid Kade's gaze and the reach of his lackeys. Once Brant was sitting down and safe, Itty revealed the extra roll she snagged and plopped it onto his plate. "Who's the best?" She asked, and Brant laughed and gave her the answer she expected. Her. He couldn't complain, she really was the best friend. ![]() |

Toby North | Werewolf / Beta | 18 / Senior | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: Brant, Itty, Kade & Ava Although Brant's remark would have definitely warranted at least an aggravated growl from most wolves, considering his size and height it Toby found it impossible to take threats seriously from the little human. He was in no way a challenge, nor was he a threat, therefore he wasn't worth wasting excess amount of energy on. Deciding to go with the beef, the beta merely flicked an amused glance at Brant as he piled his tray with food, before turning his attention to Itty. "How is it possible to mention three separate topics in one statement?"He stated, although it was more with amusement than anything else. In the time Toby had come to know Itty he'd began to grow used to the Kitsune's random thought processes. It was a characteristic he had been assured that they all possessed, but he sometimes wondered if perhaps Itty had been given a double dose of the confusing trait. "Anyway, coach put on an extra swim practice after school, so I'll have to bail unless I want to spend the next with with him riding my ass about competition season." Toby was a talented swimmer, a fact only enhanced by the refined skill set his werewolf abilities gave him, but although he technically had no reason to practice in order to maintain his fitness... well, if it meant he didn't need to go home and listen to his dad yelling at his mom, he'd take the opportunity any day. As they trio moved towards their regular table, Toby's gaze followed Itty's as the female mentioned that the Alpha of their competitor pack had acquired a companion. As a rule, most other supernaturals avoided the black haired male as much as possible, lest they end up on the receiving end of Kade's notorious temper, or worse, his sadistic, violent sense of humour. Although only a Beta himself, Toby's eyes flashed golden as he noticed the female werewolf sitting across from Kade. It was all Toby could do not to let out a loud, disgruntled growl then and there. She was making a mistake. Letting his tray clatter onto the table, Toby sat down heavily, his gaze still fixed on the other wolves. "Shit. We better do something before Kade tries to enlist her in his little rebel pack." Kade Lesnar | Werewolf / Alpha | 18 / Senior | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: Ava Although the Alpha had sensed the approaching female, he paid no attention to her until her request to sit with him reached his ears. Slowing lifting his gaze, Kade's green eyes locked on the female. Oh, she was new all right. Ava Lockwood, if he wasn't mistaken. And he wasn't. Although, he was admittedly a little surprised that Toby and the rest of the do-gooder pack hadn't already given the pretty little wolf a heartfelt warning about how she should avoid Kade at all costs, lest he pull her down to the dark depths of hell. Or y'know, wherever the goodie-pack were claiming Kade had come from these days. They certainly were imaginative. A small smirk of amusement appeared on Kade's lips as he pondered how much the neighbouring pack would be freaking out the moment they saw Ava with him, but of course he did not voice such thoughts to the female. Oh no, instead, he simply let her continue to explain herself with increasing desperation. A wolf without a pack was a pathetic sight indeed. "Mm, and did you consider that perhaps there's a reason I'm alone?." Kade's smirk widened menacingly as his deep voice finally filled the silence which had began to fill the void between them. His words were not rude, nor were they bitter in any way, in fact, Kade seemed to be very amused by Ava's presence, especially how uncomfortable she seemed. "Not that I'm complaining, you're much easier on the eyes than my own betas, after all." He added with a shrug, "But I suppose, I shouldn't have expected less from a Lockwood." As Ava began to tap her fingers against the table, Kade raised an eyebrow at the motion, it was mildly irritating and his canine instincts told him to put an immediate stop to it. Therefore, he did. Reaching across the table, Kade placed his palm firmly over Ava's, pressing her hand against the table with his claws slightly extended for good measure. ![]() Edited on 01/05/16 @ 10:12:01 by Racha (#8280) |

|Ajei ‘Jei’ Nabahe|Female|Skinwalker - Loner| 17 / Junior | Location: School > Lunch Room > Outside Benches | Mentions: Erne, Kade, and Ava| The eyes that moved to assess her caught her attention immediately, the slightest movement making her hone in on this new teacher or staff member the way her mother would a pronghorn on the open plains. Analyzing each of her movements very carefully, she seemed sure of herself and bold, and with sensitive ears she picked out Erne’s tone of voice speaking to her science teacher. So she could stand up for herself in a new place. Good, she’d need it here. Standing and stretching out her lean muscles, she scooped up her tray that held no trace of the food once found there. Jei could eat as much as any teenage boy and then some and still feel a bit of hunger, she could definitely put away food and would even give the werewolves a run for their money. Padding carefully over to a trash can and dumped her tray into it before shouldering her messenger bag, glancing around one last time before pale eyes locked onto the table were Ava and Kade were sitting. If she had to choose a pack she liked better here it was that one, though with the bully that Kade was it made her standoffish. Joining it wasn’t too appealing, but neither was joining the other one. The school pack seemed closer knit though and being that close with others didn’t sound very nice. So she calmly pulled her backpack closer and made to head out of the cafeteria. There was no need to go getting involved with either pack yet, her mother and aunts would laugh if they could see. A skinwalker thinking about joining a pack of werewolves, what a joke. At least werecoyotes or kitsunes were closer to her sister species in a way. Moving past the teachers table, she flashed a ‘friendly’ smile at the teachers and enjoyed seeing some of them shiver even if she didn’t pose a threat truly. Slipping outside she made her way towards the benches, happy to be free of the crowd inside for once. Settling down she took out her history homework and a few highlighters before getting started, racking her brain for separate answers as she highlighted entire paragraphs with a happy hum. ![]() |

Kade Lesnar | Werewolf / Alpha | 18 / Senior | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: Ava The shift in Ava's personality was enough to make Kade pause. He raised both of his eyebrows as he appeared to regard the female with a new found intensity. So, she wasn't just a meek little pup after all, was she? What an interesting development, and not too surprising either considering her rich heritage. Every werewolf knew about the Lakewood's, even non-born wolves like Kade. "Alright." That same menacing smirk soon returned to the Alpha's lips as he let his eyes lazily drift over Ava for a final time. He was completely ignoring her demand for his hand to be lifted from hers and the reason why soon became clear as he allowed his claws to fully extend and sink into the soft tissue of her hand. Maintaining his grasp, Kade leant forwards so that he could grab Ava's chin with his other hand, forcing her to stare directly into his now blood red gaze. "You're in. Let's see how tough you really are, Lockwood." He chuckled, the overtones of his Alpha power seeping into his voice, deepening it further into a threatening rumble. Just as suddenly as he'd grabbed her, Kade let go. As a werewolf, any small injury his claws had caused would heal quickly, not that he particularly cared either way, but at least it meant he wouldn't have an injured female in his pack. "I may not have your blood line, but make no mistake, two years ago I was nothing more than a pathetic human. Now I'm an Alpha. Lineage means fuck all and I will not hesitate to demonstrate that to you, Ava." Although it seemed as if the two wolves were being rather harsh towards each other, Kade much preferred this brutal method of openness rather than the fake meekness Ava had originally displayed. He had no intention of pretending to like her, so why should she be any different? Being disliked was not exactly a new things for him, after all. "And it would be such a pity to ruin that pretty face." ![]() |

Erne Irene Muirin | Selkie - School Counselor | 26 | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: Kade // In general The teacher finished her last tuna sandwich, sucking on the ends of her thumb to get the last bit off. A few teachers glanced her way as she stood up and arranged whatever papers she had brought with her. Many had small meals they just microwaved, or small portions of order in food. Erne herself had brought in 2 cans of tuna and made almost 3 sandwiches before eating the rest with ritz crackers she'd brought from home. She was a selkie, and seafood was always a favorite. Fish and shrimp were the primary source of her adoration, but she didn't neglect crap. Humming an old lullaby to herself, the selkie arranged the coat she wore on her waist by tightening it before grabbing the papers and walking off. She threw her trash away, heading back towards her office to prepare for her appointment. A kid was scheduled to see her, and it was the one she suspected was a werewolf. Might as well get ready to dance. _______________________________________ Miyu "Itty" Itri Watanabe | Kitsune - "Beta" | 18 / Senior | Location: School --> Lunch Room | Mentioned: Brant & Toby + Kade & Ava Itty shrugged, not caring about Toby's comment. It wasn't an insult, she'd grown slightly used to the way he functioned as Toby. Not that it helped him in his cases, since she was still known to get annoyed at him for it. Itty then signed, hearing his commitment to the swim team would snatch him from her plans. Again. It's not like swim was big here, it was just a sport that managed to keep going even when it wasn't needed. Their lacrosse team was nice, and the cross country track team looked interesting. Itty just couldn't imagine being on a team that wasn't with her pack, she was too people-oriented to start over with new people. The only reason she tried to hard with Toby was because they were of the same pack, and they were looking for an alpha. "Well, good luck with that... Both swim team and attempting to separate the new girl from him. You know they all love that bad boy image." Itty stated, leaning closer to Toby's shoulders to see the exact line of sight he was focusing on. She heard the bite in his voice, but she knew he wouldn't hurt her physically for a few factors; the students and teachers, the fact they were a pack, and that she'd kick his ass later. "Maybe we can hang out later tonight? Pack needs to stick together." _______________________________________ Bartholomew "Brant" Maddox Taylor | Human - Pack Friend | 18 - Senior | Location: School --> Lunchroom | Mentioned: Itty & Toby + Kade The young male blantatly ignored the conversation over pack, the girl sitting by Kade, and all tlak involving the wolves and other creatures. There were far too many for him to truly care. Itty always assumed he'd tag along with all her events, and he had to admit that he usually did. Not that it helped very much... Itty assumed he was part of a pack who didn't even care for him half the time. They didn't even notice half of the bullying Kade managed to complete when they turned their backs. Sighing softly to himself, Brant rolled his eyes at Itty's comment on pack sticking together before starting back on his meal. the chicken nuggets were soon buried in the mashed potatoes and being stuffed into his mouth. He didn't talk much at the lunch table unless Itty prompted him to, which she didn't arrange this time around. Not that he really cared since Toby didn't mind taking up whatever space he didn't fill. He needed to plan a way to slip through Kade's notice this time, he couldn't deal with the bullying today, it had gone from bad to worse in a few moments flat already. ![]() |

Toby North | Werewolf / Beta | 18 / Senior | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: Brant, Itty, Kade & Ava When Itty mentioned that Ava may have felt drawn towards Kade due to being attracted to his 'bad boy image' Toby did not even try to hide just how ridiculous he found that entire idea. "Sure, if you like the whole angst filled, teen goth thing." He muttered, before shaking his head incredulously. "Just because he's an Alpha it shouldn't mean that Betas should blindly follow him... I'm going to have to talk to her." He insisted. "She doesn't know what she's getting into." Toby had always been the type of guy to shoulder burdens which were not his own, it was something he'd learned to do at a young age when he'd witnessed the cruelty of his drunken father for the first time and since then... well, he'd never learnt how to turn it off. Besides, Kade wasn't the only one who knew all about the Lockwood name attached to Ava's pretty face. At the mention of meeting together later that night, Toby merely shrugged. "Sure. I can do that. There's a bonfire happening I think, unless you have a better idea?" He knew there was no point in asking Brant what he'd prefer, because the human would likely complain about whatever was chosen, not that anyone forced him to attend. Although, for Brant's benefit, he did add, "Sounds like it'll be mostly supernatural creatures, just a fair warni-" The reason Toby trailed off was because he'd just witnessed Ava Lakewood stand up, pat Kade's head and then head towards the exit of the cafeteria. What the hell? Rising from his seat, he nodded for Itty to follow him. "Come on." Before waiting for an answer, Toby began to head briskly in Ava's direction, cutting the female off just outside the cafeteria door. "Ava. Hi." The fact that Toby and Ava had never spoken before this moment, and therefore the fact that he knew her name was a little odd, was of little importance to the male at that moment. "Could I, uh, talk to you for one second, please?" He asked, before flashing Ava a charming smile for effect. Kade Lesnar | Werewolf / Alpha | 18 / Senior | Location: School Cafeteria | Mentioned: Ava, Toby, Itty & Brant To say that Kade had expected the Beta female to display such blatant disregard for his authority would have been very far from the truth indeed. In fact, at that particular moment, as he watched Ava Lockwood walk casually away from him, the Alpha wasn't sure if he found her actions impressive or down right infuriating. Still, perhaps having a beta on his ranks wouldn't be the worst thing in the world... after all, there was clearly a lot more to Ava than she was letting on. It was just as Kade was musing over these things whenever the sight of Toby rushing after Ava caught his attention. Interesting. However, rather than help his new 'pack member' out, Kade merely smirked with a dark form of amusement before turning away. The little female could handle herself and besides, Toby and his pack were about as dangerous as newborn puppies. Pathetic. With the neighbouring pack now not blocking his view, something very interesting occurred to Kade, something which made his inner predator begin to pace and prowl, ready for action. Brant. The little human the pack adored so much, and who Kade just so happened to take great pleasure in bullying. Who just so happened to be alone.... "All alone?." Within seconds, Kade had moved from his own table to the one the other pack had claimed. As always, his movements had been silent, the only thing giving his presence away being his sinister greeting. Well, that and the fact that he'd placed a his clawed hands hard around Brant's wiry shoulders, allowing the razor sharp talons to pierce lightly into the smaller male's skin. "You never learn, do you, Brant?" ![]() Edited on 01/05/16 @ 15:32:45 by Racha (#8280) |

(( Erne will be in her office > 3> )) // (( It's okay, I just won't want headless to be left behind, so I was avoiding a reply so that they could catch up. While it may help the Rp along, we can't post and leave others behind. )) _______________________________________ Miyu "Itty" Itri Watanabe | Kitsune - "Beta" | 18 / Senior | Location: School --> Lunch Room | Mentioned: Toby + Ava She patted Brant's arm in farewell, quickly grabbing her tray to take with her. She ate quickly as she raced after Toby, almost stuffing her mouth with her food. As they passed the trash can, Itty tossed the stryofoam tray away and licked her fingers. She wasn't the alpha, so she didn't have to be presentable to others. Itty also didn't like newbies. It took a while for her to settle into the groove of new people, and she felt like adding more to the pack was pointless. They were alpha-less, sure, but Toby kept them on a straight enough path. As Ava spoke, the kitsune almost rolled her eyes. The last thing she needed was another girl to end up being lured in by Toby's charms. She'd strangle herself when that happened. Deciding it was better to break it up now rather than later, Itty sidled up to Toby's side. While her manner of moving was timid, as soon as she was within contact range, she playfully scooted her packmate over to speak to Ava head-on. Well, halfway at least. It was hard to stay directly in front of the female werewolf since she let Toby keep half his space while remaining in contact with him. Physical contact settled her emotionally, so it calmed her. Aside form that, she and Toby were equals, she didn't have a right to shove him completely out of the way unless he made a complete fool of himself. Itty was still waiting for that to happen, though. "The name's Miyu, but everyone calls me Itty. Toby here definitely knows you can handle yourself, he just wants you to be warned. After all, having more information is better for deciding, right?" Itty smiled, extending her hand. She was a kitsune, and it usually peeved a few wolves off, but Toby was her packmate and she wasn't going to hide away because of her species. Toby led them both, but she knew he was horrible with words. "Kade is about as good news as wolfsbane, Ava. While he's imposing and a good leader for scaring others off, a monarchy is just about all he allows in his little pack. We're not much without an alpha, but I can sure tell you we're a democracy. We're equals, and pack stick together for trust, not fear." That was about all the pitch Itty had for their pack. There wasn't much to say, since they didn't much aside from their equality, friendship, and trust. 'We also get fat off sweets every day after school' didn't seem like the right thing to add into that description. Turning to look at Toby, she smiled reassuringly. While it seemed she was calm on the outside, she wanted him to give her a sign she'd done well. A fox might be a lone creature, but Itty was a dependent on Toby's judgment and approval as much as she was her own. _______________________________________ Bartholomew "Brant" Maddox Taylor | Human - Pack Friend | 18 - Senior | Location: School --> Lunchroom | Mentioned: Kade The human watched his "pack" leave, sighing softly to himself as they chased after what e could only assume was the werewolf Kade had supposedly been speaking to. It didn't seem like too big of a deal for him, so he ate the rest of his mashed potatoes and brown gravy in a content silence. He was so distracted by Itty and Toby's actions that he failed to notice the imposing shadow that appeared over him until he felt hands on his shoulders. It was indeed hands, and ones that were too familiar to foget. Especially with the claws sinking in through the fabric of the baggy, plain sweater jacket he had worn over his baggy t-shirt. The poor boy didn't do much other than simple clothing, although he did have a reputation for wearing sweaters for how cold he got. Not that they helped. Thankfully Itty was always happy to lend a coat, which wouldn't help a lick in his present situation. Ducking his head down as if it'd hide him like a turtle, Brant chewed his bottom lip. He was usually snappy, but Kade's presence usually happened to grace him outside of the lunchroom walls. The human did little more then grumble under his breath. It wouldn't help his present situation, though. Nothing really would unless Itty and Toby came back. One or the other wasn't a threat but together they gave Brant some sort of protection. Kade was an alpha after all. "Just go away, asshole. And get those darn claws out of me, I don't want to be some crazy dog like you." Brant snapped, regaining his composure the longer Kade lingered. His insult about Kade's species might earn him a few scraps, but it would be worth it if he irked the wolf enough to get him to shove off. ![]() |
