He doesn't possess the ability of flight, but is quite good at faking it through moving air currents. He's also partial to quick offensive blasts of wind and his defensive skills, as well as any that take more than a moment of thought, are all lacking. Possibly due to his lack of spirituality.
Looks: Like the majority of -shown- airbenders Richen is fairly tall at five feet eleven inches [one hundred eighty centimeters] with a rather elegant appearance with a smooth, somewhat narrow face, sloped shoulders, and a leaner build overall. His hair is short and scruffy, about an inch in length, and a very dark shade of brown. His eyes are a light grey color and his skin is a warm olive, copper color. His clothing... Screw it, I'm drawing this!
Personality: While he may be pretty tall, Rinchen has the personality of a short grumpy person. He's a bit smart mouthed and while not exactly pessimistic, he often gives people the impression he is through his lackluster attitude. He's quite easily agitated by others and often times has to be forced into doing things. He doesn't really like jumping into situations and prefers to do things like watch out and such, although when needed he does have some pretty good offensive skills. Though he sucks at defense. Very un-airbenderly, I know. With friends he's only mildly moody and makes some effort, but is otherwise the same. And while it may seem like he's a bit cowardly or lackluster, he'll step up if he needs to.

Name: Azaleas "Azy" Tiamat

Bending: Earth
Looks: 180cm tall female, with athletic yet feminine figure. She has traditional Earth Kingdom attributes; obsidian black hair and Brunswick green eyes, but her tawny skin gives away her mixed origins. Her cheeks are covered in freckles, and she bears a thin scar over the left corner of her lips. Her outfit consist of grass green, Mandarin collar sleeveless shirt with mint green trimming, dark grey baggy pants that are tightened little bellow knees, bandages cover the rest of her leg but are covered by her simple, dark brown boots. Personality: Somewhat of a loner, tends to stay away from larger groups, but is dependable in and outside of battle. Has a smug side which comes from pride of her earth bending skills. I tend to slightly deviate from predetermined personalities, so I apologize in advance.

Looks: Kilma is of average height and has a slender build. His skin is tan, and his dark brown hair is worn in a traditional waterbender style: roughly shoulder-length, with a silver pin holding a small section in the back into a ponytail. He wears the traditional garb of a Northern Tribe waterbender. He has a kind and trustworthy face, and dark blue eyes.
Personality: Kilma is friendly and has a cheerful disposition. He is deeply interested in tradition and history. He occasionally has difficulties picking up on social cues from others and sometimes speaks without thinking, leading to hurt feelings from friends. He has a bit of an inferiority complex, and feels like he constantly has to prove himself to others. He is easily manipulated by others.

Bending: Earth, currently studying metal bending
Looks: Terribly tall and lanky, very pale with permanent shadows under his light green eyes. He has very thick, slightly shaggy short hair with a bit of a curl to it. Typically wears traditional Earth Kingdom garb in typical earthy colors-- greens and browns of varying shades, mostly.
Personality: Polite and open, to a point-- he very carefully steers conversations so he doesn't have to talk about himself, his feelings or his interests. Despite this, he prefers to spend time in the company of others rather than be alone. Very organized and finds himself frustrated when there is disorder. He tries (and fails, often) to be more analytical than emotional and gets especially frustrated when he can't separate his feelings from a situation.

Bending: The avatar, so technically all four. In practice, only Fire and Air, and Air she has only recently mastered.
Looks: Neah is a tall but still somewhat petite girl, with classic Fire Nation features shaded a more traditional Earth Kingdom brown. She keeps her thick dark hair cut short, and rarely bothers to do more than run wet fingers through it to style it. She favors pale colors with accents that mark her as part of the Fire Nation, and tends to wear tighter-fitting garments.
Personality: Like her birth element, Neah's anger and passion are both easily sparked. She does not forget an insult, but often lets her anger smolder while she thinks of suitable retaliation. On the other hand, she loves quickly, easily and intensely, and is fiercely protective of those she holds dear. Enjoys music and dance.
Boyfriend or Girlfriend: None at the moment.
Pet: Sheo-Glen, a male undersized raven eagle that rides on her shoulder. Was partially trained to intercept messenger birds before it was discovered he would not grow to full size.
Friends: Open
Family: Tori Caari, firebender father, very successful merchant, lost his bending. Unknown earthbender mother, died when Neah was 6 months old and Tori refused to speak of her. Some suspect that her mother was much lower class than her father, perhaps even a servant. Jio Caari, adopted older brother, can bend lightning. Neah has not spoken to Jio since before the elements began growing unbalanced.
Other: Going to begin learning waterbending next, and expects to have a lot of trouble with it as Avatar Korra did with air.


Sample:
The sudden silence after the chaos of a fight was almost as deafening as the thunder of Jio's lightning generation had been during the battle. Finally, a pained moan broke the silence, and Neah straightened out of her combat pose. "D'you think we'll have any more trouble, Arsisa? Jio?"
The two other firebenders also relaxed slightly, Arsisa smoothing out her skirt before she fussed with her hair. Neah waited, knowing that the much older woman would not speak until she thought her hair was perfect.
"I daresay we will not, at least not in this area. It is rare that the hunters come after me twice close together, and we made enough noise to make others think twice if they were ever thinking of it." Arsisa sat primly on a stump, one eyebrow arched imperiously at Jio. Neah sighed, thinking not for the first time that she disliked traveling with a person with a bounty, even if said person had knowledge and money they needed.
"Hey, big guy, what are your thoughts? Oh, and, do you need some water after bending? I know it's been a while, and it used to drain you so much." Neah grinned at her brother, hoping his recent sour mood had been improved by the action.
Sheo-Glen flapped over from the tree he had taken refuge in during the battle to settle on Neah's shoulder, grooming her hair and making worried sounds. "I'm fine, Sheo, they didn't touch me, see?" She fed the bird a bit of dried meat from a belt pouch, then looked over at Jio again. "Jio? Everything okay?" His silence was unusual.

Since my question prolly got overlooked in the profile, I'll ask again :S
Will this RP have posting order/cycle?

What is posting order/cycle?
It dictates which player posts when.
Each player can post only ONCE per posting cycle, no matter the number of characters he/she controls.

What does it do?
Posting order/cycle prevents creation of post clusters that appear when several players post while the others are asleep. It also prevents creation of separate groups in the RP that usually end up not having anything to do with each other.
It gives players who are ahead or behind LD time a fair chance of participating in the story without the need of having to read pages upon pages of posts that in the end might not have anything to do with their characters.
Posting order creates interactions between characters which without would probably disappear in the mass of 1 on 1 posts.
Each player can post in peace without fear someone would butt-in while he/she is writing a post.

Who posts first and who last?
First post in the cycle should always be the dungeon/game master, creator, in general the person who established the RP idea. In this case that is Axis.
Following after the DM, in the case of this particular RP, should be person RP-ing the Avatar due to the importance of the role itself.
Rest of the order follows this pattern: users behind LD time (starting with the user furthest from it) -> users that are same to the LD time -> users who are ahead of LD time (starting with the users closest to it)

I know that this might sound a bit...scary, but I've been using this in a personal RP where there is 5 of us (including me) for years and it created an environment for a story that can progress, grow and eventually come to a satisfactory finish.
