Do you think that it is possible to put up a game development topic that let's players have editing rights on topics? I do! I know some things about this are iffy, so I will try my best to put in as much detail as possible. A couple situations (feel free to comment more!): -Unable to sustain group post, and someone in the group is able to take over -Clan admins having the ability to edit clan threads would be awesome as well, if the owner is gone on a hiatus, has a frozen account, etc. (Not the designated clan thread, that one already has the function c: Additional clan threads for RPs/etc) -Any collaboration threads for sales, RP, giveaways, etc. The Wind up and the Pitch So, you have a thread and next to "Delete Post" it states, "Add Editor" or "Transfer Edit Rights".. most likely you would be able to click it, and a box shows up to add a player ID, depending on which action you take. A good idea would be to maybe add in, "You are going to give editing rights to [name (#ID)]. Are you sure?" pop-up before agreeing to add the player. When adding a player (owner access only!): Then, they would get a message saying "You have now been given access to edit ["This Thread"], made by ["Player!"]. When removing a player (owner access only!): They would get a message saying, "Your editing privileges have been removed on ["This Thread"]-sorry!" In case of privacy issues: Player must type in a small digit pass code given from the owner of the topic to be able to edit, possibly? In which case the owner can add a passcode once the "Add Editor" block shows up. This would be most likely optional, depending on the thread and the players privacy. Secondary Editing A player who has been given the ability to edit a topic will NOT have the ability to remove other players from editing. Only the owner of the thread will be allowed to conduct this. The secondary editors' only ability to manipulate the thread is by changing the context of the topic. If the rights are transferred, then that user is seen as the owner of the thread. My reasons for this: 1) Clan admins have ability to edit clan threads, and 2) Player/Group projects 3) Side Accounts to edit threads (suggested by Umbreon) 4) A new thread manager for an RP, so they have access (Feel free to comment more!) Mock Visual Special thanks to Nori #71021 for making this for me! <3 I would appreciate any feedback whatsoever, and PLEASE give me an understanding reason why you don't support this idea. I've put quite some time into this! Also check out this other thread! Another suggestion! Thank you for listening, and have a great day. :) |

This is great! Another application could be for side accounts. Ugh, hate it when my main has a thread and I want to edit it but it's my main's. x3 0 players like this post! Like? |

But, the thread I made on this account for a Clan I made my side an admin and I was able to log into my side and edit the same thread. So doesn't this already exist or was it a bug that allowed me to do that because the system thought I was on my main? 0 players like this post! Like? |

This has not been implemented into the game yet. That's really weird though if that did happen when you were editing from your side account. Are you sure it was your side account? 0 players like this post! Like? |

That's very odd! I'm not sure, but I do know that the feature is not in the game yet. :/ 0 players like this post! Like? |

If a side account is an admin to a main's Clan, they can edit the post. Same with ANY Clan admin, they can edit a Clan's official thread. 0 players like this post! Like? |

We need this so badly! I manage the sales forum for a clan, and sometimes I'm only able to get on my side account, so would really like to have this. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I see this being useful. If someone can't mange the thread by themselves. Someone they know can help them edit the thread with new information. I support. 0 players like this post! Like? |
