NEW CLAIMING SYSTEM
Finally, after a ton of coding, prepping, testing and tweaking, the new Claiming system is here! The initial testing page we shared a few months ago didn't change much, so some of you might be familiar with how it works, but we'll explain now!

The image will indicate to you what personality type the lioness has: Good, Kind, Neutral, Snarky and Evil. Obviously, Good and Evil would come only from chased lionesses, the others are typical NCL personalities.
Keep in mind what personality type your king has - you can have a nice bonus if you match the lioness, or will have to be super careful if you are opposite!

NOTE: When claimed, lioness will be in your unsorted cave area and will have a normal, default pose.

Now, the moves - there are 9 moves in 3 columns, while the 4th column is non-claiming buttons: Leave (simple), Slap (battle) and Auto-Claim, which has always been there. (If you have a Leopard Orchid, an extra button will appear under the claiming image).

The move pictures are probably very easy to figure out, but just get into a mindset that you're a sexy king wooing a lioness - she surely wouldn't like you biting her neck first thing you do when you meet her! :O This sounds more like a finishing move, doesn't it? Careful, as with every move the temper will rise! If it fills up she will be done with you. Figure out your strategy against specific personalities with your king,

I just met a Neutral lioness - I chose Manly Roar, Purr, Shake Mane and Rubbed her Head and she was mine despite 1 fail, she did not like the Mane Shaking but she really digged that final move :D worth!

Also, no more 1,2,3 slots. From now on, NCLs will sport markings in any possible slot.

Now... it's not JUST moves you gotta keep in mind when Claiming. This new system is much less brainless clickyness than before!




As you can see the impression levels matter for getting specific looks, but there's more perks!
Any lion who is Impressive or better might get a lioness in a heat - however Dreamboats are guaranteed always.
Any lion who is Impressive or better might get a lioness with a matching POSE, however it is very rare.
Any Dreamboat has a tiny chance of obtaining a lioness that suffered a miscarriage before she met you! :o Being a Dreamboat is very cool now and should be easier to claim lionesses than a Barely Noticeable lion, obviously.

Now for stats - stats will match the impression levels as well - the least impressive lions won't get a lioness better than ye olde NCL's - 25-40 stats max. the better your impression, the better the total stats are, though! AND, the lioness age matters here too. If you find an older lioness, she will have better stats than younger one :O

Now for the type explanation:
Basic is typical wild NCL with 0-3 markings, common bases etc.
Chased obviously is any lioness chased by another player, including the usual NCL's - so even the Golden markingless lioness could be in that pool.
Exclusive NCLs generated with markings exclusive to NCLs.

Exclusive stuff?




You might have noticed Exclusive type, and we will elaborate.

These lionesses are just like any wild ones, but they have one extra thing - either special eyes, noses or markings that are obtained ONLY from Exclusive Lionesses for now. In future, we might introduce also unique bases, but that will happen when it's time to refresh the feature :D for now enjoy these:

Copal, Marigold and Clay markings - these recolours are unique to this type.
Albinoid & Glass eyes - these eyes are unique to this type. Albinoid will fail to Red and Pink, while Glass will fail to Green, Blue and Brown.
Peach nose - this nose colour is unique to this type and won't default to any base.

All of those, of course, are in wardrobe :D

Note: When Gorilla Enclave feature releases, we do plan to have one of rewards which would let you pick any of these markings and apply to any lion of yours to chosen slot etc, so it's not 100% RNG based, but for now it will remain so until that specific update.

New Dynamic Background is now available in Oasis (6 GB / 20 uses) - Riverine Forest. It is based on upcoming Explore zone - last one! :D I will be working now on the new enemies and encounters and I think that explore update might come sooner than planned.

NEW BEETLE SPECIES:
Rhaetulus crenatus is a new common Oasis species.

Remember that the event ends on August 31st at 11:59 pm, and all your currency will be stored in your account until next year.

CURRENT POLL LINK - Please vote for the concept for first male pose - remember we plan to release 1 Oasis Pose per year TOPS due to the amount of mane work. I am sure when we poll next pose I'll pull ideas from the forums as well!
