Oliver Fallingtree | Male | 21 Years | The forest outside Bard's Hollow Oliver leaned forward, his thick brown hair whipping behind him as Vodahshul dove lower beneath the treetops, pulling in her wings to gain speed and dodge obstacles. The man's left hand gripped the leather reins and the right, white-knuckled to fight the wind's resistance, held his pine-wood bow. Below the pair, a sizeable buck zig-zagged in an attempt at escape. The man tensed his calves against the worn leather of his saddle, spurring his mount on. He dropped the reins, kept in place by the dragoness's stiff feathers, and reached behind him, his calloused fingers plucking a single, steel-tipped arrow from the depths of his quiver. Sitting up only slightly, Oliver brought the arrow to the bow and nocked it, closing one deep brown eye to aim as he pulled the rope back so that his thumb caressed his cheek. As if in slow motion, he relaxed his long fingers from the drawn back string, allowing it to fly from the bow like a slender, determined bird. It found its place and entered the buck's tawny cranium, making it tumble forward onto its back and tip quickly over, sliding for a couple feet. Oliver whooped in gratified success, punching the air with his bow in hand. ![]() |

Janice Lynn|Female|18|In the forest hills of Moonhill Janice sprinted forth, metal cover bounced and clashed with her thick leather wear. She weaved through bramble and tree with Ith scurrying in a desperate attempt too keep up, letting out annoyed moans at her. She looked back now and then, a teasing smirk held her expression in which the young drake bellowed at. Ith started forcing longer steps, high leg lifts as the black reptile charged forth. Janice picked up pace, making a sudden turn to a tree she clambered up it. Ith skipped tom a stop looking up the oak, he whined a bit before rearing and twisting his body to the tree. Ivory toned claws sunk into the bark like a knife in warm butter abruptly pulling himself upwards. The tree shuddered, branches gripped at Ith as he clambered after Janice like they were trying to pull him off. The higher he crawled them m ore visible Janice became. Sitting on a large branch swinging her legs back and forth as she watched her hand raised drake try to climb a tree to reach her. ![]() |

Evelyn SageSong|Female|19| Moonhill|Mentions:Open Evelyn shot through the town laughter filling her voice as she ran her small drake friend comfortable wrapped around her shoulders hidden in her hair that even when pulled up went a few inches past her butt, The towns people turned as she passed slight laughs passed their lips watching as Evelyn ran her old brother chasing after her yelling at her to get back to him, but he was ignored as she wove in between people and buildings before making it to the forest were she quickly climbed a tree and hid laughter still escaping her lips before pulling her stolen prize from her pocket, A single piece of chocolate she had swiped from the counter as she walked by getting caught in the act by her brother, she would make it up to him though, she always did. ![]() |

Janice Lynn|Female|18|In the forest hills of Moonhill Ith let out a loud moan, almost like a plead which soon made Janice lower herself through the branches. Soon perched beside Ith, "Are you too big to climb all the way?" she teased, patting the black drake's head before continuing to lower herself. Ith simply inched back before doing a suicide drop from the tree, landing with a heavy thud. The tree the two were on shuddered and groaned. "Guess it was a young one we climbed huh?" Janice guessed, Ith obviously not occupied with what she had too say as he watched a small, brown bird which kept a sharp eye on him. Janice watched as he lowered into a crouch, step by step he moved forth the bird shifting uncomfortably. And with a sudden pounce a battle scream that rattled Janice the adolescence charged snapping at the bird as it took startled flight yet the drake didn't catch it. "You trying to wake up the whole forest?!" drake looked back at his rider as she exclaimed, letting out a disappointed chirp before shuffling back over to her. Accepting the sympathetic pat on his ridge head. ![]() |

Evelyn SageSong|Female|19| Moonhill|Mentions:Open Evelyn's head snapped towards an animistic scream, Flux lifted his head and leaned to see if he could see anything though he couldn't see anything because of his size. Evelyn stood up and skillfully jumped from tree to tree calling out for Rune in her mind. Shortly after she heard Rune flying above with soft wing strokes. "Can you check ahead and see if you can find anything?" Evelyn asked. Rune gave a low growl in conformation before flying ahead looking into the forest for signs of anything. ![]() Edited on 02/11/16 @ 22:01:37 by True (#47822) |

Tara Sambuka | Female | 17 | Far outskirts of Riverfront "Are you sure you don't need me to run to Bard's Hollow for anything? Medicine? Food?" Tara asked the curled-up, golden-white lizard laying before her, in the carefully hidden cavern hardly in sight of the small shoreline town nearby. Lyra, the lizard in question, shook her head slowly, careful not to harm the two large eggs nestled tenderly beneath her left wing. One was a small but smooth egg in a shimmering gold color, like its mother, but the other was a much darker black, nearly the color of a moonless night, and almost twice as large as its sibling. Lyra had made it known that she suspects the other egg, a supposed golden-blue egg, was swapped for that one, but the dragon insisted on taking care of whatever would emerge from the egg, even if she wasn't its birth mother Lyra let out a small cough and a shudder. "Nope. I'm getting medicine and a blanket for you, and you can't stop me." The 17 year old stated with utmost confidence. What...? No, that's too far for you! Why would you go that far? The usually silent dragon's voice echoed through her head. "You're weak and sick, and if you were able to fly, I would definitely have you fly me over there. But you can barely stand, let alone fly. Just let me do this, ok?" She pleaded with her scaly friend, "And I don't need either of us to be killed by the King's secret army. Just me being here is dangerous, if anything, going on this errand would be better for us both. Your hatchlings deserve to know their mother." She finished, knowing she'd evoke some kind of emotional response from the new dragon mother. She got a huff from her, the golden dragon turning her head away and closing her eyes. Tara laughed in victory, quickly running off toward the sizeable town known as Bard's Hollow. ![]() |

Ith released another noise, pushing his snout into her shoulder. Soon sitting back Janice knelt down next to him. "we've always been in Moonhills.." she sighed, Ith looked at her, letting out a another chirp. The rider looked at her scaly companion , "Sorta sucks I can't understand you. I least I can understand when you're a hungry little drake, that's a start right?" Ith stumbled forth in a failed hop to his clawed feet. Letting out a hefty roar Janice clapped her hands around his jaws before lifting herself up. Removing her hands from the drake's jaws she started to walk. Ith now and then decided to smack trees as hard as he could, watching birds or tree critters dart around in panic, his scaly lips held back in a grin, Janice simply rolled her eyes with a small smile. 'We could start running again?" she suggested ith gaped and hurried to her side. Looking at her, "That's what I thought." she patted the drake's head as the continued walking. Evelyn SageSong|Female|19| Moonhill|Mentions: Janice and Ith Evelyn froze when the tree she had just jumped on started to shake, letting out a quite squeak as Flux fell off her shoulder only to barely catch him by his tail muttering a small sorry to him as he hissed at her, Rune flew back over speaking into her mind. "There appears to be a drake and a human below. Shall i land?" Rune's smooth voice flowing through her head, Evelyn shook her head. "Not yet, i think i will introduce myself first." At this Evelyn pulled Flux back up and placed him on her shoulder before carefully picking her way back down to the base of the tree spotting the dark drake and human that Rune had mentioned. ![]() Edited on 03/11/16 @ 08:09:44 by True (#47822) |

Itsvan Recke|Male|26| Bard’s Hollow (Pizrak's gait is similar to that of the Komodo Dragon.) Itsvan's return to Bard's Hollow had been far less than exciting. Usually they might even greet him, but not today. It wasn't like he cared, but it was a little painful that his own family would even turn a cold shoulder his way. They all knew what he did, who he was. It was best not to associate themselves with a Rider. Especially one with such a bloody reputation. Drawing his hand back on the reins it pulled the wicked looking bit against Pizrak's sharp teeth. Though the bit looked harsh and heavy it was the only thing which allowed Itsvan to fully control the drake's movements. The massive creature drew to a halt under his hand, snorting and rolling his large eyes. "You're in a good mood." He couldn't help but mutter to the drake, Pizrak shook his heavy head and nearly jerked the reins from his master's hands. Itsvan shook his head and urged Pizrak forwards. The creature lumbered forwards on limbs like thick tree trunks a frightful sound followed each of his weighty steps. Pizrak was slow, too slow for some Riders, Itsvan rather liked the lumbering gait and massive creature. Slow as he was Pizrak could still plow an enemy over and tip them on their head rather quickly. Of course the drake had two faster gaits, but this is the one that caused the most fear to accommodate an enemy. Itsvan's mind wandered far off, remembering that there had been a time where Riders were normal people and not hunted like animals to be slaughtered. Pizrak sensed his Rider's blank mind and sped up, heading towards the safety of the Bard's Hollow forest which lay just on the outskirt of the town. ![]() Edited on 03/11/16 @ 08:16:16 by Sumriaias (#32475) |

Nivera | Female | 6 years old | Bard's Hallow| Brightly colored wings were folded neatly to the fae's side as she strolled through the forest. It was often that Nivera would walk without her rider, as she would collect shiny objects or items that struck her curiosity. Today was different though, Nivera traveled out further then she usually did, now reaching the edge of the forest that laid on the outskirts of Bard's Hollow. There was not much to do out here, and the gryphon contemplated turning around. Well that was before the sound of speeding paws caught her attention. Her blue eyes would narrow as a beast came her way, and on its back a man. ![]() |

Itsvan Recke|Male|26| Bard’s Hollow | Nivera Itsvan snapped back into focus just as Pizrak roared and charged towards a small griffon which seemed to be heading their direction. Pizrak's jaws gnashing, Itsvan pulled back on the reins pulling the bellowing drake to a halt. Itsvan's face was shaded by a hood, but the expression on his mouth was purely visible. A griffon here? Was it wild? No, it had no fear of people, wild griffons were far more weary of drakes as well. That meant another rider would be nearby. Itsvan slid down from the saddle and slowly approached the brightly colored bird. His black and silver cloak billowed elegant and mysteriously around him. He lowered his hood revealing a strangely kind yet cold expressionless face. "I figured there were more Riders around here, but a griffon Rider?" He nearly smiled to himself as he shook his head. It would be great to get to know some other Riders, perhaps they might even be able to start a bit of a rebellion against the new King. The people were suffering so badly. A muscle in his jaw jumped with the sudden rage that flooded Itsvan's senses. Pizrak tensed and lowered his head massive jaws parting in something similar to a snarl. ![]() Edited on 03/11/16 @ 09:43:16 by Sumriaias (#32475) |

Avalon Thorndyke|Female|19|Bard's Hollow|Nivera Avalon was beginning to get frustrated. She had set up snares all throughout the forest, and not a single one had caught anything. It wasn't that much of an issue, she still had some meat left from the deer she had shot a few days ago, but that wouldn't be enough food to last both her and Nivera for longer than one more day, two at the most. She sighed and knelt to check her last snare, grumbling to herself as she looped the empty wire back into her pack. She stood, adjusting her bow and setting off in the direction where she had last seen Nivera heading. She wasn't worried about the gryphon, if need be Nivera could always fly away from the danger and they could meet up later. Avalon grinned to herself as she walked, wondering what her mount would do if she tried to give her a flower crown. Blue and purple orchids would probably be best... ![]() |
