Ramuthra hails from the desert region of Lioden. Dropped there as a cub so many years ago it's harsh environment has become familiar and homey. His family has grown since then and he'll sometimes get a grumble or a growl from a newer member of the pride saying

"we should move on. expand our territory. this here is a barren wasteland. "

But he is staunch in his position. That is, he has been, but with nine lionesses giving birth he has decided that they need better land to hunt in, even if home will always be in the ruins of the desert. Ramuthra is currently on the prowl, keeping a low profile so he can scout the area until he decides to strike.

Roaring was pretty much the laziest king ever, he just sat there playing with the baby hyena and barely explored anymore, as a result clay needed to do everything, snowy and marinu were tumbling around and zozori was pouncing at the three beetles in the mound, imperial was yelling at roaring to wake up and mazori was hunting
Basically a slight chaos

when Ramuthra happened upon the Roaring pride he sunk further into the long grass and watched. A curious horned viper snaked it's way around his paws but he paid it no mind. He was prepared to sit and wait for hours if it would help him make sense of the madness before him. His plans were rudely interrupted however when a second playful hyena bounded out of the grass beside him and went to play with roaring's pup. Ramuthra huffed, his cover was blown by his pride's adopted hyena pup. He'd been prepared to kill it with one powerful swipe of his paw but he doesn't actually have much say in what happens in his pride; if the lionesses like it, it stays. He kicks it whenever it ventures into his part of the ruins but, as it paws Roaring playfully and nips at his tail, Ramuthra can see kicks do nothing to dampen the animal's enthusiasm.

Roaring yawned and woke up
"Ok Ye lil ball o fur lemmie get up"
He then did a very poor impression of some sort of animal and started jogging around while the little cub ran after him, but he didnt realize that there were two baby hyenas and was confused as he stared at them, imperial stopped yelling when roaring woke up and went to help round up the few beetles and frowned when she saw a dead larve
"Geez we really need to pay attention to these guys"
She mumbled, clay managed to round up the four hyper cubs and got them to play tag instead of smashing the beetle mounds, mazori carried back a bird and some feathers, zozori and ginger were arguing on who should be it, eventually resorting to a climbing and wrestling match, they both got separated by clay, she sighed
"Just stop fighting for once, ok?"
Both the cubs nodded but clay knew that they would start fighting again

Rodric shook his mane in an attempt to beat the heat. He had grown up in Scotland, where a dark mane had been to his advantage. But in the serengeti? No such luck. At least lions were actually acceptable here...

Roaring rolled over and went back to sleep, mazori went out to hunt again, imperial was guarding the pride, clay was guarding the Cubs, roarings hyena cub went to play with the other cubs, nudging the other hyena to come too

in the serengeti some humans were wandering in Rodrics territory. A couple carried fire sticks and seemed quite wary while the rest were babbling excitedly while waving their arms arounds. They had two jeeps, one of which towed a trailer with a beige tarp over the top.

In roaring's pride Ramuthra's hyena pup was having great. The ground however suddenly fell out beneath the pups and they descended into darkness.

Ramuthra meanwhile took a long and relaxing tinkle on one of Roaring's favourite trees.

Cocoa (the hyena cub)was panicking along with the four other Cubs, clay looked stressed and didn't know what to do and where this cub came from, if there was a hyena mum nearby, a cyclone of thoughts, Mazori saw a random lion doing whatever
"Hey, you there! What are you doing?"
She growled a purposefully intimidating growl
"State you business or Leave, Now"
Khasami herd the panicking and just tried to get some rest
Imperial was trying to calm everyone down, but failing horribly

Rodric's ears pricked up. Sound carried a long ways, and he could vaguely hear machinery. Leaping onto an outcropping, he roared a challenge to the humans. "Let them come," he growled when his sister Gavenia appeared from the tall grasses.

Mazori was still growling at ramthura
"Answer me! Or run away into the tall grass"
Clay looked at the other hyena cub, wide eyed still, while all the other Cubs panicked along with cocoa
Imperial was still trying to calm veryone down
Roaring was still sleeping
Khasami was still sleeping

"I challenge you! Zozori!"
Ginger roared
Zozori laughed
"Already picking up the new rules?"
Zozori paused and suddenly looked very serious
"Go get clay"
"Also, challenge accepted, half bro"

Ramuthra lept with a mighty roar, aiming a clawed smack at Mazori's muzzle. He usually preferred to avoid confrontation, but with such a direct challenge he felt obliged to step up. He anticipated a hasty retreat since he was alone, but he could run pretty fast.

Mazori roared with rage, which startled a few colorful birds, she went a' slashing upon ramthura
Imperial heard Mazori's roar, and ran over, khasami was sleeping, because why not, it's not like two lions are fighting
Zorozi was two years old, a skirmish couldn't take place
Most of the Cubs were calmed down, even though clay was internally panicking
And roaring was just lazily sunning himself, unaware of any drama
