He's tall and has a dark vibe. Very disheveled and messy. Think of a cryptic or folklore monsters (mothman, wendigos, etc.) His wings is separate from his arms and he has groove-billed ani talons as feet and hands. (hes full bird except hes in a humanoid shape)

He wears a lot of raggedy clothing. Or clothing that a ranger would wear. Or if we're going for edgy and gothic (completely up to it) think of dark assassin clothes. He has a bag plus a belt with his notebook. He has three bone trinkets with carved initials into it from his adoptive family. He has tattoos. Some from his village and some from being cursed. They glow with his magic (think of the avatar) and how he has tattoos is up to you. Think nordic design when creating this tattoos or choose some from the many tattoos I have saved on the pinterest board in the bottom of this forum <3 How he has tattoos is up to you. Maybe his feathers glow or maybe the skin underneath his feather- go wild. Of course tattoos arent required if you cant draw them but it would be awesome if you could. He wears a wooden mask thats in a bird like shape (something like this)

Hes not an easy person- er.. bird. He's almost always cranky and rude. But after a while he easily gets attached to people and gets really loyal. But he wont ever show it unless they do. How he shows affection is kinda odd. Bringing you shiny stones or leaves. Before he was cursed he was more friendly but he didnt change completely. The curse affected his mental state, making him think hes going insane by hearing too many voices in his hands and hallucinating. My best way to describe what happened is life punched him in the face and told him he was going to be hunted the rest of his life and theres no escape. Mean that would change how I thought.

He became increasingly paranoid and aggressive, drinking out more often to escape himself. But that only made the situation worse.

He lives in a custom village named Greenwood Hollow. (Might shorten it to Greenwoods. If someone has ideas for this village name please dm me- If I like your idea I'll pay you for the idea lol)

Greenwood Hollow is a small isolated village that isnt known very well. Its in the middle of a dangerous forest full of hags and fey. The people inside of the village have been there a very long time and have traditions some think is odd. They wear masks, presumed to scare off the monsters. Thats where Kweevo got his mask. The village is mainly full of rangers and herbalists, who all worked together to raise Kweevo.

(Will do my best to keep this short. If you're interested in a detailed first person story I can tell you when im done lol)


Kweevo was born into a massive family of aarakocra. They were nestled on the side of a mountain. At a young age a storm started to form, the biggest one in a very long time, a tornado took shape and swept through the mountain, tearing their home apart. The aarakocra tried their best to protect their loved ones, but there were just too many hatchlings to keep up with and too much happening. Kweevo unfortunately hid and didnt come out when the mothers called for him. He was too scared to listen and the mothers were forced to move on and help the others. His nest he was hiding in was destroyed and he got snatched by the winds. He was thrown off the mountain side but managed to glide into a tree, saving his fall. He got taken in by a remote village named Greenwood Hollow. They were wary at first but soon took him in. The whole village helped raise him but mainly the lead Ranger and his wife a herbalist taught him everything.

He was never taught how to fly and ever since that fall he didnt dare to go high again. So he stayed a flightless bird for a long time. Crafting a strap to hide his wings under his clothing the best he could. But even though he pushed away flying, he always wanted to go home. Back to the mountains. He wished everyday he would see his father or brother flying across the sky looking for him. And on his 17th birthday he did. He saw a figure flying above the tree line, seeing the outline of their mighty feathery wings. Joy overtook him and he raced out into the woods to follow it, trying desperately to get its attention. But he didnt follow the path. He went into the very forest the village made him swear to not go into.

And soon he lost the aarakocra. He was alone and lost. Terrified and paranoid he ran deeper into the forest until he came across a massive abandoned building. A place full of scrolls and books. An old elven school of magic. He had always loved learning. He yearned to learn about the history of his people, and different customs people have, but magic was something that completely amazed him. In his terms, he was in heaven. He ran around, trying every spell, failing everytime.

But beady eyes watched him from the shadows of the bookshelves, and as the shadows overtook the sun it was on him. It drove its claws into his shoulders, slamming him against the floor. Its figure hovering above him, its pale skin barely holding on to its skeletal frame. The hag hacked and sputtered before cruelly smiling, a smile that haunts him for the rest of his life. The hag cursed him, twisting his mind into its playground. His figure grew into that of a monster, giving him the power to master magic but with a massive price. He stumbled back to the village, cold and defeated. He collasped once he was within the borders and the herbalists quickly tried to save him. His wounds were fixable but the curse wasnt.

He was a hex blood now.

Juggling alcohol and the weight of his newfound powers were too much. He had to find an escape. He had to find a cure. (got a little carried away)
