The drylake's deep fissures contrast to the pale earth almost as vividly as zebra stripes. A clear and brilliant sky is above, but every breeze briefly clouds it with the heavy dusts of the ground bellow. It seems like this land will never be restored, but that doesn't mean there is nothing to gain from it. This land boarders or runs through the territory of every prominent Coalition of the Crocodile member; prides that have been given the scraps of nature and yet they flourish. Sometimes their territory are the crocodiles; ancient, mysterious, and seemingly unchanging. Sometimes they are the crocodiles; rough exteriors that are nonetheless respected. All of them meet at these lands to negotiate with their fellow coalition members.

Sidifur was grateful for the success of his clan but...enough was enough.

It was good that everyone was so close and devoted on most days, but it did have it's rare downsides. After Dreamy Primrose returned with the first failed hunt since her adolescence. To cheer her up, Chocolate Daisy decided to sing her the nursery song about the frog hunting dragonflies. Apparently, big sis was not in the mood for that at the moment and shut her down, but like any good little sister, Daisy wouldn't be silenced and decided to sing the song nonstop all day. Soon enough, the pride was dividing themselves between the "Pro-song"ers and the "Anti-Anoying"s. Sidifur admittedly found this stage of the drama to be amusing, but as Benthos, Demersos, and their offspring joined the fun, things swiftly started to dive into conspiratorial pipelines. Soon enough, lionesses were rushing to him with the concerns of the integrity of the pride collapsing into a proper civil war, and it was now time to take a break.

It was unusual for Primrose to get so worked up to begin with; a sign that something else was amiss. Fortunately, it was a time to meet up with other members of the coalition; an excursion that would be great for her to understand the proceedings of in case she is in a position of leadership in the future.

"What, are you planning a vacation?" Primrose asks as they walk to drier soil.

"No. The thought only crossed my mind very recently." Sidifur snarked."You never know what the future holds. Tomorrow isn't promised."

Sidifur could hear the exhale through her nostrils as if he had told a joke. "You make it sound like you are any closer to death's door than I am, dad. I plunge my party into crocodile infested waters every day."

"Fair point. Still, knowledge not shared is knowledge lost."

The winds were changing, which could be devastating to certain coalition habitats and a relief to others. It was good to know how it was effecting allied prides so they would be able to assist them. Once they reached the dusty lands, Sidifur let out a roar. Primrose followed soon after. It wasn't a necessary meeting; really only for those who might need extra assistance during the transitinary period or those willing to help. For the Owbokila, the changes shifted from rough times to their favor, so they had some help they could offer.
