Tezi's Branch
A smaller figure sprints across your vision; the little thing is surprisingly fast. It seems to freeze for a moment, probably when it noticed you at the entrance. From the corner of your eye, you notice a much taller animal step out of the kopje's shadows. You're surprised at first; for starters, not only were this type of bush dogs were almost never seen, but you were sure you'd never be this close to one. She's glaring at you, waiting for you to be done with goggling over her. Nervous -- and seemingly intimidated -- you go to walk through, to go to the center of the branch. She stops you, tail curling in distaste. "What do you need from here?" she snapped, voice low. You quickly state the items your looking for, explaining that you thought you saw this branch containing the items.. You stutter a little bit, much to your embarrassment. You see the tiny little figure creep out of the shadows; now, you can tell it's a small, African dog. It's much smaller, actually, than an average adult. You're half positive it's a female; she stares up at you, fear in her eyes. "It's okay," you eventually say, "I'm not gonna hurt you." "And I wouldn't let them," promised the adjule with a sneer on her face. The african dog tucks it's tail in between it's legs, stepping aside when you pointedly look down at the items displayed. The bush dog eventually let you go, letting you do it closer up. "Sorry," the small dog eventually stuttered as she waited for you to make your purchase. Her voice was much too soft to be male, so that furthermore confirmed your theory. She added as you left, "I'm Tezi, and this is Daemund! You can come back anytime." You swear you heard the adjule mutter, "Preferably not, but whatever."
