THE SNARLING TREE

'GrrRAHHH!' The snarling tree slashes and roars at you, dodging out of the way of its mighty paws you claw at the items stuck in its bark. Dead fish? How about some monkey skulls? You cringe and pounce on a higher up branch, receiving a few more snarls and shakes from the tree. Looking around you see a few more objects petrified into the tree. Oh, this may be of some use.. You unsheathe your claws and dig them into the bark around the object, the snarling tree howling in pain underneath you as you tear it out and jump down with the object between your teeth. The tree turns to whack you with it’s branches but you’re already sprinting away deeper into the forest.
