originally named Bambara, formed pack on 5-6-13
***Before the pack formation***
Bambara was born in a litter of 5 small cubs. Through the first few months of their lives, only 3 of them survived long enough to emerge from the den. Bambara, his older brother Raf, and his younger sister Kayla were presented to their father, from which Bambara was named. His father accepted all the cubs, allowed them life, and they continued on their carefree childhood of play fighting and chasing small rodents in their mother's or nurses' watchful eyes. However, after the cubs were a little over a year old and learned how to perform basic hunting, Raf began his defiant streak. Now, Raf and Bambara were incredibly close. They were best friends, and did everything together, cared for each other, and stuck by each other. However, when Raf's defiance became known, Bambara began to distance himself. Their father wasn't one for males. The only reason he let his two sons stay is because they were mild and did not oppose him... Raf's new found defiance would certainly change this. One day, as Raf and Bambara were wrestling around, their father came over and snarled at them, which would normally cause the two brothers to freeze still. Bambara's muscles locked and he stared up at his father for commands. Raf, on the other hand, sprang up and snarled challengingly into his father's face. And so the stand off began. At first the two lions paced around, growled, swiped at each other, until Raf made the first lunge. It was over before it even began. His neck torn open, his body mangled and broken he lay on the floor. Bambara became infuriated with what his father had done and he too lunged at the murderer. The young male was easily swatted down and pinned, a heavy paw raised to end his short life. Lurei, Bambara's mother, came into sight to find out about the commotion, and was horrified at the scene. Lurei was a unique lioness, she would readily give her life for her cubs. She sprang in between Bambara and his father, sinking her teeth into the older lion's raised paw. He yelped and sunk his teeth into her throat. After a drawn out and bloody fight, Lurei was severely wounded and was driven out of the pride, along with her son Bambara. Bambara did the best he could to take care of his injured mother. He hunted for her, and tried to keep her near water, but the lions had to be on the move and stay alert for predators. Only a few months went by before Lurei was too crippled and emaciated to move. Bambara stayed by her side for weeks, himself becoming emaciated, dehydrated, and ill, until his dear mother's passing. After her death, Bambara changed his name from his father's by taking out the last "a", creating Bambar. To this day Bambar holds a much higher respect for lioness' than any lion, and a deep hatred for his father remains in his heart, alongside his precious memories of Raf and Lurei.

***After the pack information***
Bambar's pack formed when a young lioness was given to him by a experienced fellow lion, Fortune. Bambar was instantly taken with the lioness's beauty and charisma, her charm. She introduced herself as Myra and Bambar was instantly taken to her. By the next morning, he announced Myra as his queen. Bambar is very respectful towards lioness's, as his mother's kind treatment ingrained a soft spot for females. However, Bambar very much dislikes males, and tends to keep a very low number of them in his pride. The only reasons males are allowed in the pride is for defense reasons and to have a successor to pass on the lines. Many lionesses take a liking to Bambar not for his looks, but for his integrity, sincerity, and gentleness that is so rare to find on a male. Because of this kind demeanor, Bambar isn't much of a powerful lion, but is skilled in endurance. Bambar fights with other males to expand his territory for his family each day. His pack has settled down on a patch in the savannah plains.
