Dance in the Shadows

Dance in the Shadows is not from a "clean" line. He was born a few years before it became a thing, and has not been stat replaced yet.


Shadowdancer has sired 6 cubs with mutations, 8 ebony based cubs, and several tri/quad vit cubs, that I am aware of.

From a game of Impress the Lioness:

A large onyx lion calmly approaches Matal's father and respectfully lays the silver beetles at his feet. As he begins to rise he is tackled from behind by a large vitiligo marked lioness. "What are you doing big brother?",she asks. "We have been given the honor of trying to win the heart of the lioness you see on the rock before us.", he replied. "She's really pretty!", says the lioness, giggling slightly. Shadowdancer smiles at her before turning his attention back to the Barbary king, "With your permission sir, I would like to speak with your daughter for a moment." The king nods, and steps aside, all the while trying to hide a slight smile.
Shadowdancer approaches Matal and bows slightly, before he can say anything his sister runs up to them. "Hi!!! I'm Vitty!!! Your really pretty! Do you want to play?" she asks excitedly. Matal draws back slightly, unsure of the lioness' intentions. Shadowdancer smiles softly at his sister before turning to Matal. "Please excuse my sister she doesn't mean any harm. She was injured by a buffalo as a cub, and she is still a cub in her mind. My father wanted to kill her, but I ran away with her before he could. We have been together ever since.", he says with a gentle smile, before continuing, " My pride isn't the biggest as I am new to the throne, but I can promise you a life of peace and understanding for as long as you wish to live with us. Or at least a peaceful as possible with Vitty around.", He says the last bit with a wide smile and a playful nudge at Vitty. He then bows respectfully, before walking away.
