Biography
“Are you certain this is what you wish for? You will be leaving this life - and all those you know and love - behind.”

The tawny pelted male stayed silent, his expression showing a weariness far beyond his years. The sorrow held in his eyes was enough for a thousand lifetimes - he would be forgotten by everyone. By his brethren in the loner’s cohort. By his younger blood brother, Sekunde.

By his loving mate, Azazel.

But with all he had seen, all he had done, did he truly deserve to be remembered? The blood that stained his paws and ran from his fangs forever scarred his heart. The weight of what he had done was far too heavy for him to bear alone.

The male took a moment to steel his nerve, taking a deep breath he assumed would be his last.

“Yes.”

“So be it.” The spirit responded, her voice as soft as a melody and as loud as the roaring wind in a single breath, “Avetus the Wanderer shall be no more.”

At her words, the male bowed his head and closed his eyes, ready for the nothingness of death to overtake him.

But it never came.

For you see the great spirit saw through his stained coat and scarred pelt. She saw he sought redemption through his own demise, an honorable path for a lone male.

It would be a shame if he died so young.

“You shall be known as Janguru, for you will lead a new pride with the wisdom and kindness of the great white lion. You shall no longer ignore or disparage the outcasts of the prides. You shall protect them as your heart has called you to do.”

The male felt a burning sensation, starting in his paws and quickly spreading through every fiber of his being. It was as as though his ancestors had set his very spirit ablaze. His throat seized at the sensation - not a word could pass his lips as the spirit spoke again.

“Make the most of your new life, Janguru. Lay the foundation for a great dynasty that passes your honor on for generations.”

“We’ll be watching.”

"Oh Lord Lion it's a fire! Ain't nobody got time for that!" *Runs*

After some of your teenage cubs tells Minari a scary story about undead lions, Minari is so distraught that they've worked themselves into a panic attack. Grandpaw Janguru holds them close and tells them that he'll keep them safe.

Try as you might, you can't seem to find Canami anywhere! You spend the better part of your morning searching through your territory, roaring and calling out their name in case they've wandered off. As you pass by Grandpaw Janguru, he softly calls you over and lifts up his paw, revealing the lost cub, who is... fast asleep? It seems they had a nightmare and snuggled up with Grandpaw all night. D'awww...

"You must always remember to be kind," Grandpaw Janguru says to his grandcubs. "Even to our prey. Never hunt for sport - only when you need to eat. If you can help something out there, then good things will come back to you."
