Nequitia

The king with a mane full of stars, Nequitia is an incredible leader. He may be a malicious brute with no mercy for anyone who stands before him, but he’s cool-headed, and an honourable warrior, at least, as honourable as he can be. When he battles, he employs many underhanded and sneaky tricks to win the advantage and beat his opponents, but that’s very rare. Most of the time he’s doesnt need to play such tricks in a fight. He’s incredibly smart, strong and smart, and sees honour and loyalty as the greatest values of any lion.
The previous king, Gedrick, was at first a little iffy about making Pyre (Nequitia’s name before he was crowned) his heir, because of his seemingly malevolent ambitions and perceptions. However, as he was the only other subordinate male in the pride at the time, and Silver (the other male) had respectively declined the position, he was the only option. However it wasn’t just that that made Gedrick not think twice about finding a new heir. Pyre was an incredible leader, his hunting patrols always came back with bountiful prey, and many of the lionesses respected him, despite his demeanour.
When Gedrick offered him the choice of becoming the next king, he humbly accepted, and when the old king died, he rose to power. He’s not the kind and merciful king that Gedrick was, or the chivalrous leader that Silver would have been, but he’s an amazing leader nonetheless. Just don’t piss him off. He might have a good temper, and actually quite enjoys arguing, he tends to get bored really easily. You wouldn’t want to be around him when he’s mad AND bored, there’d be a fresh bloody smear on his cave wall, and it wouldn’t be from being over-zealous at dinner time!
