Commodus was born into the pride of King Axel, whose mental and physical stability was decreasing by every day that passed. Frequent rumors were pressed against the king about murdering the former Queen who had been said to run away, and yet no one dared to confront him. Commodus was confused by this behavior, as he had grown to stand up for what he thought was right. The young adolescent stood up to the king, who was shocked, as he claimed he had nothing to do with her departure. As they further discussed, he had learned a secret that he knew he had to keep to himself. Due to this private confrontation, he quickly rose in popularity, and unknowing to Commodus, was claimed by the quiet Axel as the future king. As he grew up, it was clear that the king was getting weaker day by day, and there wasn't much time left for him. Thus, Commodus was granted leadership over the pride. Despite his youth, and with his leopard companion named "Alari" as the informal Queen, his vitality and spirit gives light to the solemn reign of King Axel.
