A once fair and regal king turned cold and quiet by the loss of his first pride, Skylight never recovered when the pride that he was born into was destroyed by poachers and he ruled his new kingdom in a state of constant overprotection for the remainder of his reign. Skylight refused to take a queen/king beside him as one of his biggest fears was having to watch the lion he loved the most fade away all over again. Despite his dark past, he loved his kids and his kingdom and stopped at nothing to ensure their safety, even if his choices weren't always the most..reasonable.
