Gai

Gai is a laid back and relaxed kind of lion. He hardly calls himself a "King", since he feels it doesn't really fit him. He allows others and his pride members to call him whatever they like though.

He may seem aloof and even a bit air headed, but he's smart where it counts, and tough as nails. Just because he rather cuddle with his ladies in the shade or bask with them in the sun, does NOT mean he's stupid. He knows he has to be tough to keep himself and his pride alive and well. And he's far too happy to show anyone who's willing to try that he doesn't go down without a fight.

Side Facts:

He has a huge soft spot for babies. Any babies. He thinks they're cute, tiny, and he just wants to scoop them up and protect them all.

He is an insanely merciful king, with the worst thing he's done that his pride can think of is chasing off a lioness that didn't want to stop causing trouble.

Gai is normally followed by a raven and a crow. Both of them are leaders of their respective flocks, both of which Gai's pride has made a type of symbiotic relationship/friendship with. They act as extra security, letting them know if anything or anyone potentially dangerous enters their territory. They also help them seek out and single out prey and food. They even swoop at the faces of running prey to startle them right into hunting females. In turn, Gai's pride gives them a share of food, allows them to nest in their territory, and helps keep their nesting grounds, and in turn their families and chicks, safe.
