You were feeling a little bit of anxiety over the rumor that the hyenas would attack soon. Conch sat next to you, however, and told you that he would proudly stand by your side no matter what happens.

"One day, you will be old enough to receive the blessings of your ancestors - it might be from me, or your mother, or a brother or sister... and one day, you will join the ancestors, too." The cubs around him are all paying attention, though some are more enthusiastic than others.

After supper, when the cubs are all snuggled up together and ready for bed, it's Grandpaw ⊰ 𝐿ø𝓀𝒾 ⊱'s turn to tell them a story. Puffing himself up, he regales them with a tale of all the lovely ladies he'd managed to woo during the month of love. You can't help but snort as some of the younger cubs pull faces and wretch.

Tonight's story has Grandpaw ⊰ 𝐿ø𝓀𝒾 ⊱ acting out something he experienced back when you were a tiny cub. You end up sitting behind the cubs, distracted by Grandpaw ⊰ 𝐿ø𝓀𝒾 ⊱'s dramatic acting.
