Mikena

This aging lioness was bought from the Trading Center by Lord Vath. The ruthless king had no interest in the old girl, and transferred her over to Casuis' lands. Unlike Vath, Casuis was very pleased with the female and felt pity for her; she was nearly at her 12th year, so the kind king decided she would stay with the pride until her time comes. At the time, the slate lioness had no proper name, so Casuis took up the honor of naming her; Mikena.

~15 Years, 10 Months~
THIS LITTLE OLD LADY IS JUST TRUCKIN.
Mikena had already reached the grand old age of 15 years and is slowly creeping up to 16. During this month, she had seen her previous king, Casuis, step down from the throne (although he was not very old) and allow a younger lion to take his place. The new king himself was no different than Casuis; he was kindhearted and very chivalrous. He greeted each of the lionesses with a gentle smile, and to Mikena he beamed. The new king, Lord Seren, gave the old lionesses the utmost respect, for he presumed that she was with the pride a long time.
However, the maroon dusted lioness had not been with the pride for even 4 years; but during that time, she was given the most respect from all of her pride mates, and she returned them her wisdom. Mikena even agreed to become a broodmother, for she enjoyed telling the cubs tales to pass the time. But soon, there would be no tales left to tell, for she would have slipped away in the night. Many are saddened that she may leave without warning, but the old, grey lioness reassured her pride that the last few years of her life were well spent. Had it not been for Casuis, the loving and caring king, she wouldn't know where she'd be now.
