Usiku: "Night" in Swahili Sjena: "Shadow" in Croatian Usiku Sjena has one dream: to be the best huntress the pride will ever see! Usiku is "tom-boyish" and loves to wrestle and practice her hunting skills. Many of the older lionesses try to talk her into calming down (due to her amazing fertility). But Usiku is stubborn, and she definitely is not interested in males at the moment... Maybe she'll learn as she gets older. Turns out she did! Her first pair of cubs Dhoruba and Tufani were quite the trouble makers. The two always snuck away from their babysitters to go wrestle and explore the outskirts of the pride lands. At one year Dhoruba left to go rule a pride of his own. Tufani still lives in the pride though! This lioness is as feisty as her mother, she grew up strong and smart from all the play fights with her brother. Usiku also recently became a grandmother to Tufani's cub Radi!
