♚Queen Mustikka(1st Queen)

Queen Mustikka was lead huntress in addition to being Queen. She was truly an inspirational figure to all in the pride when she was alive.
Mustikka means Blueberry in Finnish and her berry-themed name started the tradition of all princesses of her and Blondebeard's bloodline being named after berries.

Mustikka originally came from a pride who dwelled in the mountains. They were all very grayscale lions in color which suited them well when attempting to blend in with the rocky terrain, but Mustikka was always very curious from a young age and wanted to explore the outside world.

One day when Mustikka was still but an adolescent lioness, she wandered a little too far while chasing a butterfly and she tripped, and fell down the side of the mountain. She was fortuitous enough that she didn't die, but she acquired a huge, bleeding gash on her shoulder along with other wounds covering her body.

She at first struggled to get back to her pride, but then, seemingly out of nowhere a pack of aggressive AWDs (African wild dogs) appeared.

Mustikka tried her very best to get away. She didn't know where she was running to, she just knew she had to get away from the AWDs and stumbled further and further down the rugged mountain.

She was bleeding heavily, and getting weaker with every passing second, but had reached unfamiliar terrain at this point.
Suddenly, she saw a golden pelt flash before her and heard a loud roar, and the AWDs that had been chasing her previously all fled with their tails between their legs...

She looked up and was surprised to see a lion with a scarce mane around her age looking down at her with clear concern in his kind, yellow eyes.

She would miss her old pride, but ever since that day, she knew that her place was with King Blondebeard, as his Queen - and she stayed faithful and true to him all her life. He loved her despite all her scars too, after all.
