Peony, a curious lioness, was magically bonded with Dangerous at birth. They were destined to be the first King and Queen of the Dangerous Waters. Curiosity for the land beyond the waters captured her heart. At the age of one, she demanded freedom. To her surprise, Dangerous agreed without a lift of a brow. His only condition was for her to return in a year's time. -- Eight months after King Dangerous' fifth birthday, a familiar scent tickled the King's nose. He raised his crooked smile and patiently waited. -- She returned, 365 days after she left the Waters. His scent floated amongst clusters of unfamiliar female lioness scents. She surveyed her territory before walking towards him. Her strides light yet powerful, and with a touch of grace. The other lioness bowed towards her. Even though they have never met her, they knew one unmistakable truth -- the Queen has returned!
