Malai Ya Mkweaji

Malai's the only cub born from Hari's first litter, and the first official descendant of the Mkweaji's lineage. Since birth, her destiny was to marry Chubuko and become Queen, something she was glad for since their friendship had become love with the passing of years. Gentle and patient, Malai complements Chubuko in many ways, more so since the energetic King often loses sight of the bigger picture with his excessive enthusiasm. She would birth many cubs for her King, the first one being Wazi, then Kifalme and Mtukufu. Despite her happy life, Malai had one of the saddest endings in Climber history. She watched in horror as her beloved mate was murdered by Hakuna Nywele, who for some reason decided to keep her alive. The fallen Queen fell into a deep depression that eventually stopped her old heart with grief.
