Maroon has always had a special place within my heart. She joined my pride as an NCL, found in the wild when I first began in 2015. Even then, I found her to be stunning- from a simplistic way of view. No, she's not the most rare, or valuable of lions. But she was and always will remain my favorite lioness. The beauty and heart of my pride forever. Not only did she hunt valiantly, but provided me with a long lineage of stunning offspring and happy cubs. May she walk among the setting sun for the rest of time.
