Unfortunately for the pride, she also takes after her mother's...less-than-amazing concern for social graces and often finds herself with her foot in her mouth. Her promotion to First Huntress surprised no one, as Arelia showed a great talent for directing the other adolescents during hunting practice, not to mention her own skill at hunts. While she has a ways to go, the pride remembers her mother and Arelia will likely have the support needed to become a great leader. That being said, there are certainly those who are frustrated at the King's choice, feeling that there are older and more experienced lionesses that have been passed over in favor of a bloodline.
