Bakul was kicked out of her pride by the old king, due to him being ill. Malka had come across her and others but didn't have enough space to have all them join. So he had to have the girls fight him for a place in his pride. He hold back some of his strength but not all. Only 2 other lioness other than Bakul put up a fight to a chance to join this pride. In the end Bakul had won her spot in the pride.
