Rothhain

The first born son of Arhani and Eos, he will likely be the successor to the rank of Lord. However, even at this young age he understands it is a position he must earn by proving himself worthy of it to both his father and mother. He is eager to begin patrolling and practices daily by prowling around the den and outlying grasses. His sister often follows, determined to be just as worthy as he is.

Knowing now that he can never succeed his father, Roth tries his hardest at his assigned tasks. He patrols as often as possible, but is often too hard on himself when he finds nothing to bring back to his family. Though Arhani and the lionesses provide enough food, he feels it is his duty to help as much as possible. Guilt plagues him that he could not follow in his father's footsteps despite knowing how much Arhani loves him. However, he understands that he is not the best fit to lead the pride and has done his best to gracefully accept his lot in life.

Since he will never lead and thus can never have cubs, he tries to stay away from the lionesses, but has found his heart well and truly captured by Anna.
