Macha was one of the original lionesses of the pride - the others being Neamhain, Morrighan and Everlast. She's especially close to them, but is generally very friendly and is also especially close to Uladh. Being one of the older lionesses in the pride is tough, but she uses her position to give advice (especially in hunting and cub-bearing) and care for cubs old enough to leave their mothers' sides but not yet old enough to leave the den. She also tends to watch over the more reckless adols to make sure they don't wander too far or play rough with the cubs. Though she's kind she's also fierce when she needs to be and won't hesitate to fight or even kill other animals or lions who threaten the members of her pride. She's grown powerful over the years, and can be ruthless if need be. It's said that her roar can strike fear into the heart of any enemy; even incredibly large ones such as elephants and rhinos.
