Tandi was traded for silver beetles by Enzi when she was just a baby. He had fought for the right to have her in his pride and he had won. She hated the fact that she was being sent to his pride, but had grown to accept the fact. She was surprised that he was so nice. She had been expecting a horrible lion with a cruel streak. After all, who buys a cub? But King Enzi assured her that he wanted to buy her as he saw potential in her. He wanted to nurture her and make her the best that she could be. At first she was insulted that she was to be a breeder, but Enzi assured her that it was a very noble position. After all she was giving life to the future. Grudgingly, Tandi accepted that and made an attempt to settle in. She became good friends with the other breeders and the group sit around and gossip about any passing males they have seen, or what their future cubs will look like. They all adore Enzi and hope that one day they will carry one of his cubs.
