Biography
Jasiri was the only son of Kijito, product of a single night of seduction between his mother and a lucky rogue. He grew up as a rogue, constantly travelling to be safe from other males, as well as the dangerous predators that lived in the wilds. It was something of a lonely life, moving from pride to pride in search of someone who would take them in. Jasiri was plagued by guilt that his mother may never have a home because of his presence.

He began to contemplate running away in the middle of the night, and probably would have done so if it were not for their last-ditch journey into the jungle territory of King Sikia.

The lion seemed honorable enough, but something was off about him. Jasiri vowed to keep vigilant for his mother's sake, but what really caught his attention was his newfound family.

Jasiri had never had a family before - it had always been just him and his mother. Now he found out he had an aunt, and two newborn cousins that he instantly loved. His aunt Mzimu asked him if his mother had given him any sort of defense lessons, and when he told her no, that there simply wasn't time for training - they barely had time to hunt and survive, she informed him she would talk to the 'others' and help train him to become a royal guard, as all non-royal males in their pride did, with the exception of Haji, the healing master.

Jasiri means 'bold' and 'daring' in Swahili.
