Mabaya

Born 8/06/14

Her name means "evil" for her black coat and personality and devilish-red eyes. She is the daughter of the previous king, Hassius, who was one of the nicest kings to have had ruled the Mwezi Wazi (Moon Plain) Pride. Being the royal princess, Mabaya is being groomed to be the next queen once Queen Upinde retires.

10/4/14 - Her blood-red eyes glow the brighter as devilish creatures roam the earth. Stonewall swears that she is a devil herself and worries for their daughter, Eclipse.

10/11/14 - She's one of them

2/5/15 - 15 years old. Mabaya is officially too old to cause trouble but her legacy of darkness continues.

2/9/15 - Stonewall Jackson is dead and Boa Sorte has risen to power. Mabaya sulks, knowing her time is near and, grudgingly admitting it, she had a soft spot for the old king. Boa seems to understand for he gives her the best prey and lets her have the softest and warmest places to lay down. The pride had come to appreciate the dark lionesses amongst them.

2/13/15 - Mabaya died at 15 years 7 months

8/1/19 - Mabaya has risen from the dead after Tialu made a pact with the devil to bring back one of the fallen in the long line of ancestors that used to call the Mwezi Wazi home. She is a changed beast: wings and horns sprout from her body, while imprints from the devil himself burn into her flesh, effectively marking her as a demon. The pride is no longer terrified of such creatures like her; ever since Tialu took over, the pride has been filled to the brim with strange demonic lions. Everyone quickly accepts Mabaya and the lioness settles back down in the pride that is both familiar and strange.
