Cast out and rejected, she wandered alone. Enzi's heart went out to the pale lioness and he quickly invited her to live with him. He assured her that if she didn't get pregnant via their matings, or matings with any other lion, then it wouldn't matter. She was a huntress, not a breeder, and his first huntress. Amira took to the role like a duck to water and happily teaches all new huntresses the craft. She is second only to Queen Bashira, but all the young hunters look to her for commands.
