She growled and roared as Jioni tried to escape but was knocked back into the hole by Kirai and Roho whose red eyes eerily glowed in the dark. Nuru and Jioni roared for help and the lionesses disappeared when Kusudi arrived. He tried to pull the cubs up as the shadow grabbed the trio and drug them down into the cavern.
