⭐ Pride Historical Record ⭐

A golden-coated male mated with a lioness and had a few litters before the lioness and cubs decided that the male was unfit to lead a pride, so they went looking elsewhere for security. They met a young stray male named Koba who joined them on their journey. Two of the daughters fell in love with Koba and chose him for a mate, forming the beginnings of a small pride. Koba had few children of his own, preferring to adopt. One such cub turned out to be an oddity: the cub, named Skarlyx, claimed to be the son of both lion and panther. As Skarlyx grew up he became Koba's most trusted ally, and when Koba's death inevitably came he designed Skarlyx as the new leader of the small pride. Skarlyx's reign was short-lived, lasting only a few years before he was killed by a hippo. Before his death he had fathered a son who the Oracle Pata'al declared was an embodiment of their god, and would grow into a strong King who would change the pride forever.

Skarlyx named his son Pantera, after their god. He was still relatively young at the time Skarlyx died, so Queen Essarora raised him and taught him how to lead a pride. Pantera grew into a brave and strong-willed King who easily commanded the respect of his pride. He solidified the pride religion, unifying all the pride's lions under a singular god, which brought some desperately-needed unity to a pride of misfits from all walks of life.
