Neena was old by the time she joined Rayner's pride. Her old pride had chased her off after she had failed to have cubs. Wandering the Savannah on her own, she did well. She hunted perfectly, catching gazelles and dik diks. She stumbled across Rayner who happily took her in, being the kindhearted king that he was. Now she teaches the young lions how to hunt and survive, all while watching her only two cubs grow strong and healthy.
