Safi is the daughter of King Sora and Queen Isis and was born after the two had passed their reign onto Prince Jet and Princess Nina. The two left to the woodland where they had Safi, but died shortly after from a terrible attack. Safi was sent to live back with the northstorm pride but had come to find the pride had been wiped out almost entirely by an avalanche and the remaining few survivors were in the Nova Tribe in between the West and South territories. Sent there she met her cousin Sumatsu who quickly became her closest friend, sharing stories of their adventures and how one day Sumatsu was going to restore the northern territory and promised Safi she would see her true homeland. Through Sumatsu she met a rouge friend of his named Nikolai, he was a bastard born from the Westland's king and the Southland's queen, making him a threat to both prides because he could easily take over both prides and force a join, which neither wanted as they were in the middle of war. Nikolai was only a cub like them, but already the three begun planning day after day of how they would one day rule the lands around them.

A year after living in Nova Tribe, they found out a terrible secret- the Nova was aiding the south and attacking the west for prophet of resources and worker lions from the south. They were using cruel and forbidden battle tactics like poison and fire-starting. Safi had risked her life to find out this horrible secret and when the chief of the tribe began to gain suspicion on the snooping lioness, she was forced to act out her death and disappearance and join with Nikolai in his large forming army in the rouge lands. There she formed a close bond with Nikolai as he taught her how to fight like a true warrior and defend those that were innocent or defuse those that were fighting blinding in this dark war zone. Every full moon she and Nikolai would meet up at a large boulder between the two territories where they would share their stories and experiences, have fun and laugh, but also share important information about Nova and their plans for the west.
