Biography
Rege is the last remaining daughter of Adiere, the queen and lead huntress of The Tropics. At a young age Rege showed signs of her mother's legendary hunting skill, and as soon as she was old enough she demanded to be on the hunting team. Without hesitation the late king Romeo added her to the roster taking the place of the weakest huntress at the time.

She was flawless, the team brought home Giraffe on the daily, both Rege and her mother Adiere leading the team to great heights unknown. The pride flourished with the influx of food and times were good. Despite this, age took it's toll and her mother passed on shortly after, leaving young Rege as the lead huntress without question. Despite the hardship brought on when a loved one passes Rege refused to let her pride down.

Her skill was legendary and revered until a new lion came to the pride. He didn't mesh with the brown and gold lions of The Tropics, his spotted, gray and white coat standing out like a sore tail in the lush rainforest. This new lion was supposed to be the new king when Romeo passed, but Rege knew better than to trust this newcomer. As soon as he took over he bred with each lioness like any good king would, and soon an influx of gray, spotted, or otherwise unnatural looking cubs were born.

The lions who didn't match his particular vision were chased off, cubs and lionesses alike, with only Rege an exception. The pride still needed to eat and the young cubs were too small to hunt, the oldest needing training before they would be bringing home enough to support a large pride.

There was one other exception to the chasing however. A young male, son to Romeo, who bore his resemblance. He remained because the new king said he needed a sub for the time being, at least until one of his sons proved worthy. The young lion, Dragoste, didn't stand for it and ran for the desert. Before he left, however, he offered Rege a place in his pride as he was fed up with the way of this new king and wanted to uphold his fathers honor. Rege accepted.
