Grace Queen Berry Smoothie

The five different variations are Strong Queen, Smart Queen, Fast Queen, Endurance Queen and Grace Queen. These Queens balance each other out and always get along.

Berry Smoothie, the Grace Queen of Azubike's Territory, was away from the Pride for a few days as she had decided that she needed to be alone for just a few days. While she loved her Pride, Orob the Strong Queen and her King she was still feeling suffocated by it all and wanted to get away while she could before her cubs were born. On her wanders she had found a nice valley with a small river flowing through which was no more than half a days travel from the Pride, so she was still safe.

Berry Smoothie woke as the moring dawned, bright and sunny, deciding it was a good day for a hunt she went into the forest surrounding the valley. As she stepped in a sense of calm washed over her and her gracefulness was shown in the way she could walk and run without even a whisper of her passing. Because of her grace and stealth she was able to catch a lone meerkat unawares and also pounced on a dikdik before it even noticed her. Satisfied with her work she turned to go back to her valley, dragging the carcasses.

Upon returning she noticed a young cub, just old enough to be left on its own. She rushed to the cub and nudged it to check it was still alive. It let out a sigh and Berry Smoothie breathed out in relief, it was alive and a little female cub. Forgoing her decision to have time alone she nudged the cub awake and got her to eat some of the prey she had hunted while resting down alongside it to keep her warm and make sure she ate. Once the little cubs belly ws full, she lay down to have a nap and Berry Smoothie stayed by her side while she slept and recuperated.

Once the cub was strong enough they began the return back to Berry Smoothie's Pride. They made the short journey without any dramas and once there, Berry Smoothie introduced the cub to the King of the Pride, Azubike. He approved of the young lioness and named her Dapple. Berry Smoothie was chosen to look after and teach the young cub, however she wasn't all that old herself and already pregnant with cubs soon to be born. She felt honoured with the task but felt that it would be better if Orob would also teach the cub, and decided that Dapple would turn out to be a wonderful lioness under her and Orob's guidance.
