Biography
Meaning "Powder." One of the options of a betrothed for Prince Vikali after Matunda's infidelity. What makes her different, however, is that she doesn't care if she is chosen or not. In fact, she detests it a bit, and wishes to go her own way. Her mother does not mind, as she distances herself from the pride also. This works out for Poda, as Vikali does not choose Poda because of her looks being so similar to Matunda. Poda regularly hangs out with Kifalme, Hewa, Ujumla, and Chini. As she grows, she becomes curious in the art of shamanism, spying on the shamaness and her work from afar, and later becomes an apprentice to Mchawi. She becomes the third shamaness of the pride, and the most temperamental and outspoken, just like her mother. However, her gifts in the art of herbs counters her personality. Though her job gets in the way, her bonds with her friends from cubhood never leaves. She is the first shamaness to birth cubs, and out of the cubs she has, one stands out, Ekundu. She disappoints Poda due to her snarky, sassy, bold attitude.
