Queen Garnet

Queen Garnet greets you with a frowned look on her face. Where have you been the whole day? There's so much to do!

Queen Garnet is King Erebus's lover, mate and adviser. This lioness was born and raised within the pride and upon the King's promotion, she joined at his side. The King rarely spent time away from his Queen; he would on occasion to explore or catch up with his Princes or other Pride members, but generally the Queen was not far from his side. Erebus was known for being evil, cruel and rather self-centered. However, the Queen was his opposite. Garnet was always smiling, always offering compliments where she felt deserving. Garnet ruled beside her lover with kindness. It was a wonder the two managed to get along. But, somehow, they did. The Queen believed that her King respected her; not only in advise, but in personality and share skill. Garnet was one of the pride's best hunters at her prime. She was the best in terms of skill, even if her succession rate was slightly flawed.

The Queen ruled until she reached 14 years old. At that age, she stepped aside; retaining the title as Queen, but stepping aside for one of her daughters to take her place. Princess Eolosti and Princess Ahmeria were the Queen's two daughters. Both stunning in appearance and diplomatic in nature. The Queen was close to them both, however she was slightly closer to Eolosti who was the eldest and therefore the first to take the title of Queen. Eolosti however was not allowed to be granted title of Queen until the King had passed and his successor had been sworn in. Eolosti was already betrothed to the lion, though; having been so while her mother was still in power. Garnet approved of Eolosti as Queen and eventually at her side, Trytas.
