Cecelia was born blind, but despite the fact that there is a cure, she decided to live with "the cards that she was dealt by fate." Cece started out as just a small, shy cub that had trouble getting around and had to be watched carefully every time she left the den/nest to make sure that she didn't get into trouble or accidentally get lost or hurt. It was hard for her to be confident despite the words of her supportive mother, Corrina, and her father Alteus (his first incarnation).

However, one day she was taken exploring and her powerful sense of smell was discovered! She could easily recognize the scents of plants and other things. Alteus and the others were unsure of what to do with such talent, because they didn't know much about herbs themselves, but introduced her to the shamans that occasionally come through their territory. She became a shaman in almost no time, and helps to treat anything from cub ailments to dressing battle wounds.

The hardest time for her is very easy to pinpoint - when her mother started aging not long after the death of Alteus, her spirits sank. She tried her hardest, but she knew that there was nothing she could do to reverse aging. Because the pride was small at the time, however, she had fewer sick and injured lions to attend to and was able to focus her attention on Corrina.
