He and his twin brother were both handpicked by their king and were told one would be king. Alas his brother won, but hope was not over for him yet. He overheard his father talking to another male and soon found he would be king of that pride! Vitalis was happy when he heard the news and ran to tell his brother! Soon after the young cub was taken by the scruff by Rayner and taken to a small hidden oasis that was hidden from view. There he met the Queen and all the other cubs. Rayner taught him the ways in which to rule and as soon as he could started taking him out on patrols. Vitalis also learned he had a fine skill for sweet talking the lionesses. He could get away with murder with just a chuff or a purr. He used this to his advantage anytime he could. Now he awaits to be king. And to rule Rayner's renegade pride.
