THE IMMORTAL PRIESTESS Amphyrite is the Shaman of the Hanwi-Mni Tribe. She was born special; born an outcast. She has a fluffy mane, which separated her from the other lionesses. She receives visions from the tribe's ancestors and The Great Lions, Sekhmet and Apedemak. The Great Lions speak to her often, both in her dreams and in her wake. They told her something impossible, that she was to become immortal. But it was true, and it happened. Shortly after, a mysterious white cub showed up and acted as if Amphyrite was her mother. She adopted the cub, and named her Star, since she believes the cub is a gift from the heavens. Now that she is immortal, she will council Tribe with her divine wisdom forever.
