Alright, so, this might not have been the best place for an afternoon nap, but it's just so beautiful here. A little water won't kill me, right? I hope not. I give a good shake, getting most of the water off, then get up, move a little farther away and stretch back out on grass again. Looking out over the pride, King Koen is chatting with Kuri about her most recent flight over his land, Avaro is playing with some of the cubs, and others are swimming in the lake or lounging about. Just as I begin to close my eyes Naliya and Jarah approach. "Queen Vitalinae." Jarah greets me. "We were just heading out to scout for prey, would you like to join us?" Naliya asks. "Please, just Vitalinae." I reply. I'm still not used to being called 'Queen,' or having others casually approaching me, let alone by those who are older and wiser. The last time that happened, I was being told I had to leave the pride due to overcrowding. I'm slowly adjusting to Koen's pride, ahem, I mean, our pride. "Yes, I would love to!" I get up and stretch, arching my back in the process. "Kuri said she spotted some Steenboks a few miles from here" says Jarah, motioning her head over to the East. "After you," I follow the two as they lead the way, passing Koen in the process. After we have passed the King, he all of a sudden strolls up next to me and nudges his shoulder into mine. Just as I turn to say something he winks and runs off. I think I'm going to like it here.
